With new ink, here's what I do. I wash the tattoo. Then apply some good lotion (Eucerin or Curel) then I go to sleep.

Im day 5 in and no peeling or anything just a lil bit plastma first 2-3 days. Kinda has a 3d effect when toching it. Its a hand tatto btw and not as much ink in 1 spot

Finally someone said it 😊 As someone with medical studies (and tattoos), I can agree to all that. Even with knowing all this, overthinking can get the best of me sometimes:)) But then I just sit myself down, be rational and calm down. Be careful with cats also, the bacteria they carry in their mouth is "nastier" than dog's. We have an immune system that's doing it's job, and with a little help and care from us, all will be fine 😊

Thanks bro. Helped chill me out. My saniderm just came off on day 4, and I had a deer in the headlights moment of "oh no, now what." Then saw all kinds of scary stories. Also yeah. The saniderm made my first tattoo aftercare extremely easy. Barely worried about anything until it came off, but I guess its pretty solid now on day 5.

If you stretch it, the adhesive ceases to be sticky, just like 3M hooks on the wall. Like, pull it away from the tattoo, horizontally, not toward the tattoo or perpendicular to the skin.

Three days ago, my tattoo was removed for the first time, but the skin is still tight, red, and painful. Is this normal?

My second skin leaked while I was asleep, so that was fun. I would assume air explosure would be good for a healing tattoo not because air heals, but because there won't be any friction from your shirt and other outter wear robbing against it.

I just go to bed as normal and hope my new tattoo doesn’t become one with the bedsheets 😂 Been really lucky so far, lol….Only time I’ve had ink in my bedsheets from a tattoo, is when they’re peeling….My new one is currently peeling and itchy AF.

This calmed me down a lot, I’ve gotten a very small and simple fine line tattoo around 2 days ago and I’ve been trying to avoid sleeping on it since everybody says, you shouldn’t put pressure on it and I was terrified of ruining it….but I think I will be just fine☺️

I'm sleeping with plastic every day, but of course, when I wake up, I take off the plastic and return to the normal cleaning outine... is there any problem with sleeping with plastic every day? because I have 3 cats and I'm afraid they'll lick the tattoo at night..
