Bad calls are deciding games. Planned?

They purpose of having 2 referees on the ice that we would get hardly any miss calls ... NHL should just go back to one referee. They have all kinds of camera now that would help.

Here's another referee bad call maybe not in this game but most games you will see it, if the referee interferes with a puck play, than the opposing team gets a goal, that is just wrong. My opinion is if the referee interferes with the puck the call should be whistled and the game should stopped.

I am a true Vancouver fan, and through the years of watching professional hockey NHL I noticed there's a lot of the referees that look the other way it's almost like they're getting paid by the other team to look the other way, I didn't see that. That's my opinion anyways I won't say anything more because well you know I didn't see anything.🙈🙉🙊

Turtle Tkachuk is this generations Claude Lemeiux, he will go with Pastrnak, or anybody softer than him but turtles like a bitch whenever confronted by a real tough guy. It is definitely intensifying this year. Last night, I listened to Mark Messier speak on the injury to Brad Marchand and he said if he was on the ice during that game it would have turned into a 3 hour game and every Florida player would have paid the price. He was disgusted with the Bruins players.

The only consistency with NHL officiating, is total inconsistency.

I'd be sick to my stomach if I was either of those refs. I'm embrasssed as a hockey fan. Bennett deserved 3 games for knocking out Marchand. Instead he got a gold star. The NHL is fucked. I am a Jet fan in a way I'm glad we are out we don't have to stress over shit reffing. I'd be losing my mind if I was a Bruins or Canucks fan. But the kicker is - the NHL loves this shit. It sells. A crosschecking penalty should have been called and the goal waved off. But the refs have their marching orders. Call offensive goalie interference on Boston when they are pushed into the net (game 3). Allow a goal for Florida when a player is actually crosschecked into a goalie.

When you ref the playoffs different than the regular season, this is what you get. The rule book should be the same regardless if it's the regular season or the playoffs. No other league suffers the change in officiating from season to post season as bad. If the refs stop trying to interject themselves in the games and "manage" games you would not have this problem. Players would adapt or there would be a parade to the penalty box pretty quick. I want to see skill I don't want to see a goon war of attrition.

These Refs are the Best of the Best in north America ! Pretty easy to sit in a chair with 20 different camera's and replays over and over to watch . These guys make calls in the fastest game on the planet !

Having played coached and refereed for decades, the problem has always been CONSISTENCY! Yes, referees are human and they make mistakes, I made a few myself, but…. With so much on the line, money-power-prestige the officiating must be better and as was proved a few years ago, referees have favorites and that’s still happening whether it’s believed or not. I was seriously injured in a pick up game because I was viciously cross checked into the boards and the amazing thing was it was done by “a friend” but he actually thought it was my fault! My point is as I learned in mites, you see the numbers don’t touch him! PERIOD! It must finally come down to ALL hits from behind need to be penalized, PERIOD! Our game will suffer greatly if a star is seriously injured because of a hit from behind. This should be done NOW!
