I really luv those granny squares with the flowers in center. Do you have a tutorial for them? The sweater will be beautiful. You and Big Daddy are so talented. It’s such a great way to learn and meditate on God’s word and enjoy an artistic outlet other than crochet. My crochet WIPs: 1. a rectangle blanket (not granny stitch) 2. 2 granny square boho cross body bags 3. several strips that you sew wooden rings on to hang kitchen towels Today when I was at Walmart, as usual, I had to mosey down the yarn aisle. I’ve had my eye on some Premier Bloom Chunky yarn in the colorway bluebell. Today I finally broke down and bought 4 skeins of it because it’s just too pretty to pass up again. It’s got white, light blue and light gray running all through it. I just love it. It should make such a nice, soft baby blanket. Thanks for this video, Kayla. I'm delighted to hear that Big Daddy is feeling encouraged about his book! It's a wonderful accomplishment! That sweater idea is great! I'll be interested to see the process of laying it out & working out the design of it & how it fits together. After seeing you crocheting the lovey it reminded me that I have some plushies waiting for crocheted loveys so I crocheted one last night on a Santa plushie.... of course, it's red & then I added a fluffy white trim & it looks cute. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨

Hi Kayla, I have 3 WIPs at the moment the one I'm working on is a Boggy Creek Camp blanket then I have two blankets on the go for me for the winter, it's going to be cold and we don't have central heating, so it will be blankets and a hot drink lol.

I have ordered a copy of big Daddy's book, so looking forward to reading it. I enjoyed the hunting story he read out to us. Many congratulations on getting it published, that's not easy. The cowl, I start with 16-20 and make a long scarf looking thing that is about 40 or more rows long then seam the ends together. Like making a scarf but then turning it into a cowl. ❤ love the flowers. 🎉

When I am crafting my go-to beverage is Zero Sugar Dr. Pepper with Cream Soda, or hot tea, depending on the temps. My WIP is the Tipped Scales crocheted afghan.

Great wips you have going! I love your idea for a granny square cardigan. I think if you lay down a garment that fits right, you could lay squares on top for sizing and layout. I’m going to look for Big Daddy’s book! All the best to you both! 🦋
