Hi Kayla, I love the blue border. Praying for Angela's pup.
Tess can be just as frustrating, when I am crocheting. She seems to have a special kitty sense and knows to get up in my face MEOWING, when I am counting stitches! 😮😅 I have learned to put stitch markers every 25, 30, or 50 chains, if doing a long chain. That way when she head bumps me, or meows loudly, I can count from stitch marker, rather than the beginning. I keep a note pad handy to jot down things, incase she distracts me. Love her to pieces, but MAN, she can have lousy timing. Lol, to her it is perfect timing! 😊❤ I think, she senses I maybe struggling a little, and wants to provide comfort. Loves Kitties!!! ❤️ They do have a strong will, huh? 😅 Love your squares! Glad you found a video to help you with assembly. Wilma from Wilma Westenberg channel, has a tulip square Poncho, that she explains and demonstrates how to make the neck line smaller. She even makes a cord, so you can adjust it! ❤ Love you. ❤

That's going to be a lovely poncho, I love the colors.. Kayla I think you do a great job at crocheting, I mean I have 10 fingers and you work circles around me. Oh one of those aha ha moments, I have them all the time, lol. Kayla's little helper, LOL.Sassy has made herself at home on top of your poncho, she has forgiven you for stepping o her. My weekend off did some laundry dishes and house work. Then went shopping. Stopped picked up my Grandson. I'm planning on making so crochet chickens. Still working on my vest. Its half finished. Watching you every time I see you. Have a great one your self. Jean .

Today I celebrated my 3 yo grandbabies birthday. So much fun! When you said Sassy was being annoying I swear I heard her say " just doing my job Ma'am." 😂 I have 3 cats that are very good at being annoying and I have crochet cat drool yarn many times.😂

I've been working on a throw pillow cover for the fair. I pieced it yesterday, and today I'm hand quilting the front. I'm hoping to get it all put together tonight, but I'm not going to push myself. I'll finish it tomorrow if it doesn't get finished tonight.

I’ve stepped on my cat (Sugar Booger) tail before. Luckily I realized it before I stepped down too hard.
She also likes laying on projects she ultimately claims. There’s plenty she doesn’t bother with, so I know she’s “claimed” it.

And love and prayers to Angela's doggy. I too have inherited my eldest son's 14yr old Whippet, she has severe Dementia and poor eyesight and poor hearing. Her time on this Earth is nearing the end and I will not let her suffer. I have to look after her like she is a puppy again. I bought a wooden baby cot and took the front side off and cut the legs down and she sleeps next to my bed. I can cover her up with her favourite crochet blankets after each time she gets up and attend to any of her needs because she is so close to me.🐕💗 But I know what a worry old doggy's can b. This is not the first and definitely will not b the last old girl I lovingly look after. Dogs r the greatest animal blessing from God. 💗🐕🙏 love and prayers 💗💗💗🙏🙏🙏🐕🐈🐈🧶🧶🧶

Do you think if you make a new one where you could show us the art from the pages before you write on it? Kayla, take the front and back like you had them but fold down the top for like a collar, join the other two at side of diamond and make them the arm holes and join sides at angle

I laughed watching Sassy. My cat Rocky she has to be right up on me and my work. I knit. Crochet and do cross stitching. It doesn't matter if I have a needle and working on my project. On my lap she has to be. Oh my do I love Sassy. Sissy and yes Phoebe. Love your channel

Your poncho is beautiful. Now, I might have to think about making me one. At the top of your poncho, how many rows of turquoise did you add to make the neckline. It looked like there were 3 rows on your left shoulder and 4 rows on your right shoulder of the granny stitches rows. But maybe I didn't look at it right.
The art classes you are doing with the children are really fantastic. Zeke's pictures i could see them being framed in beautiful large picture frames. Are there 2 children of the same age from the same family? Otherwise, everyone's pictures I thought they were all quite good. I could see them all being framed.
I remember you and the children taking many different projects to the fair last year. We don't have anything like that here in Michigan. The only fairs that i know of here are only for 4-H children to display projects. I did that when i was young. We grew flowers in the garden and baked baked goods, and we had a dog kennel, so my siblings and I did obedience classes with our dogs. We had all of our neighbors up and down our 3 mile dirt road out in the country all involved. Every different family did something different than the next. There were sewing classes, gardening classes, pig classes, beef classes, cooking classes, dog husbandry classes, bicycle classes, and pretty much everything was covered. Plus, on a farming road like ours, we had extras. In the winter, all the families went sledding in the snow, with hot chocolate. After Halloween times, we were always hay rides with Halloween parties where you had to guess who was who that showed up because we were pretty good with our parents' help to have very creative costumes.
I love the monumental role you are playing in those childrens lives. Nobody ever let me draw with charcoal. I'm envious. And i applaud you with what you are teaching those children.

Sew 2 tog side by side. X2. N when you go to see 2 pa els tog sew on left n right side. Leave hole in middle. Then turn punchi sideways. Bad day here. Sometimes you just gotta cry. You get so tired of hurting sometimes ❤❤❤
Hi Kayla. The squares look great. I fight with one of our cats whose name is also Sassy at times. She's not quite as bad as your Sassy. My cat who passed away a few years ago she was worse than your Sassy. Even though it was aggravating at the time I actaully missed it when she was no longer around to do it.
I've done what you did, sew and crochet things on wrong. I get so aggravated with myself 😅
Went and saw my dad on Saturday and today cut some of my yard (about 1/2 acre with a push mower. I'm beat.ay try to crochet some later this evening.
