-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.

-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.

-How much yarn do I need?
Unfortunately, I will be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.

I’m obsessed with this pattern. I’ve made like three of them so far in the last day watching this video over and over helping me make ‘em each time. Im using red yellow and orange. Alternating colors per row. Yellow first, orange second, red third, black last. Then red first, orange second, yellow third black last and so on and so forth. Might use blue, green and yellow for some of them to make a striking rainbow esque throw of some kind. Thank you for your lessons Bella Coco! I wouldn’t know how to crochet if I hadn’t found this channel. Gave me all the essential knowledge to begin my crochet journey.

It was by chance I started subscribing to Crochet Society. However since subscribing I have learned so much from your tutorials and I have been inspired in so many ways. When the Sunburst Granny Square blanket was announced as a CAL I decided to join in. I am now completely hooked on making these and when finished this will be a gift for an online friend of mine. Thank you so much Sarah for your subscription boxes, which I have been having since November last year. They have been a life saver during the pandemic and have taught me a craft I could never seem to get the hang of previously.

@@bellacococrochet I also suffer with Fibromyalgia and some days the pain is really bad. I had been struggling with knitting due to a trigger finger and arthritis at base of one of my thumbs which made it difficult to knit. Crocheting is manageable while also taking my mind off the pain and allowing me to make such beautiful creations. My only regret is not starting from box 1. You take care and enjoy your girls while they are young. My two lads are now 35 and 42. No idea where the years have gone xx❤

I've basically been teaching myself how to crochet using your videos, they are so easy to follow!! I've decided to make crochet my new hobby (it was originally coloring and drawing), I'm very creative, and plan to use this skill for gifts for my family. This is just great Sarah-Jayne! I’ve seen this tutorial pop up and hadn’t had a chance to watch it yet. I have so much Caron Simply Soft yarn and just didn’t know what to do with it.
