In Fire Emblem Heroes, a Mythic character by the name of St. Elimine from Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade says “May God bless us all,” or something like that. Also, Street Fighter has tons of stereotyping too. But to be honest I find it UNIQUE And Fire Emblem Fates… I’m glad I wasn’t around for that. i know this is 2 years late, but everyone had the confusion that pichu, young link, toon link and dr mario should have been echo fighters. echo fighters are supposed to be different characters, not different versions of the same character, which is basically young link, toon link and dr mario. pichu is somewhat different, but its in the same evolutionary line as pikachu and thats why i think its not an echo.

People were disappointed with Byleth's reveal because Nintendo honestly went a little too hard with the DLC that came before him/her. They had just added Joker, Hero, Banjo, and Terry, four very popular and in high demand third-party characters fans were begging to be included, especially Hero (well, Erdrick, luckily he's an alt color), go ahead and double that hype for Banjo. That was one hell of an act to follow, people would have been disappointed with literally any choice shy of someone like Crash Bandicoot or Master Chief. Everyone stopped complaining the very moment Min-Min was announced, then people stop being bad about her once Steve was announced. I got to tell you, the community was just peachy keen after that, I heard absolutely no complaints about any of the DLC character choices after Steve, they were all great choices and finished up with what is arguably the most in demand and at the time seemingly impossible characters to include, Sora. Byleth is by far the least interesting of all the DLC characters, but in a group of DLC fighters where every option is an 8 out of 10 at the minimum, he's still pretty neat and I'm glad he was added to the game! I get real sick and tired of the anime sword fighter argument, besides, we all know the prominence of Fire Emblem characters is due to Sakurai's personal taste in video games, he absolutely loves RPGs, a genre that is represented in Smash more than any other genre except for platformers, because, wouldn't you know it, Super Smash Bros is a platform fighter and platformer characters translate the easiest. It reminds me that there is basically one genre of video games that is entirely unrepresented in Smash Bros unless you count a spin-off: first person shooters. Samus is the only character who you can argue is from a first person shooter, but Metroid as a series is a platformer and Metroid Prime technically is a spin-off of that. I guess Inkling is kind of close, but Splatoon is more of a turf war disguised as a third person shooter. There are characters from almost literally every other genre, platformers, life simulators, RPGs, fighters, racers, stealth and espionage, world building, action adventure, hack and slash, minigames, health and fitness, flight simulators, puzzlers, even real life console accessories. Okay, I guess there's no rhythm game character, but there aren't very many of those around, I can only think of PaRappa the Rapper. Those are basically the only untouched genres in terms of Smash Bros fighter representation, we don't have a first person shooter fighter and we don't have a rhythm game fighter. The first person shooter character surprises me the most, it's the one genre Nintendo has never really dived into and the one time they did, Metroid Prime, it wasn't developed by them and was not their idea, it was developed by a group of gun loving Americans! It's such an important genre, especially to the history of video games overall, it's kind of amazing it is unrepresented in the most celebrated video game crossover ever.

If we get to wish some characters into Smash, I want the Witcher Geralt with Ciri as a skin or echo fighter. I want Cammy and/or Zangief from Street Fighter. Tom Nook should have honestly been added to smash way before Isabelle. Sure Isabelle is popular and quite important in newer entries, but she is still sharing her role with Tom Nook in New horizon and he has played a major role in all of the games in his series. His role is much more important, representing the final goal of the player to upgrade is home as well as being the main seller. Not only that but as for who would make a better fighter, Tom Nook has more material to pull from and his personality has always been a bit shady. In smash I'd like to see a moveset that has somewhat of a "godfather" vibe, he's essentially controlling a whole town through controversial business practices. For example having a victory screen showing him digging a whole (implying digging the grave of his oponent) would be very funny.

Nintendo make some great games, but when it comes to pretty much anything else, they are Super annoying.

When people were going completely crazy over bowset I just could not help but laugh. That was disturbing? Are you kidding me? What about the fan-made characters for the Sonic universe? That haven't going around a lot longer and those characters were way more disturbing.😂 To me Bowsette wasn't even a big deal. It's kind of like how people reacted in such shock over some of the weird kinks people had in fifty shades of Gray just from the trailers.. When I saw those I didn't think it was a big deal. I didn't bother to watch the movies because it looks really dumb but the kinks weren't really a big deal to me. It seems a lot of people just like to take things way out of proportion and exaggerate and that's how I see bowset. A great exaggeration and not a big deal especially considering the Sonic fan base had already done so much worse before then.

"Peach's secret upgraded form" Excuse me, that's BOWSER'S secret upgraded form. Bowsette is Bowser under the effects of the Super Crown, which _officially_ only turns Toadette into a hybrid Peach clone but in fanon turns _anyone_ into a hybrid Peach Clone. Anyway, IMO Bowsette is a character with a lot of unexplored potential. People forget that there's more to R63ing a character than just lewds. You're effectively changing a part of their identity, how the other characters would react to them, and in some cases how that character might act in certain situations. It also gives opportunity for character development, showing how the character might react to suddenly being turned into the opposite gender, possibly even how they might react to their transformation being permanent. With Bowsette specifically, you're taking a big dragonkoopa guy and turning him into a (mostly) human princess. Not only is there the genderbending factor at this point, but you're also bringing Bowser down to a more even playing field with Peach. Sure, Bowsette is probably still incredibly physically strong, but she just flat out does not have the muscle mass of her former monstrous form. She might still be quite tough and durable but she no longer has that armored shell, instead only possessing a small, decorative version of her shell on her lower back. She may or may not still have her fire breath. And as Bowsette, Bowser has to basically acclimate to what's basically an entirely alien body, far more so than if, say, Mario became Mariette. Then you go back to the reactions from other characters. What would Bowser Jr. think about his father becoming his mother, would he be happy that his dream of having a mother in his life is finally fulfilled, considering that it's at the cost of his father? What would Peach think of her former monstrous would-be suitor becoming a fellow princess, would she welcome Bowsette as a new friend and help her acclimate or would hostilities remain? Long story short, there's a lot that can still be done with this character. _That's_ why I like Bowsette. Well, that and her general design's pretty cool as well, taking the elegant stock Nintendo Princess look and turning it into something daring and badass. As for Nintendo's response, I don't think they actually actively want people to forget her, they're just taking a hands-off stance on the character with their only comment being that she's not official. And if anything, that's a good thing.
