No matter what, Super Mario Galaxy 2 will genuinely be my favorite game of all time. It was the second video game I have ever played and I immediately fell in love with it. It was a real shame that it wasn’t included in 3D All Stars, but I’m just really glad that SMG2 exists because it’s an amazing game!

I still can't believe that Super Mario Galaxy 2 is not in Super Mario 3D All Stars which is pretty disappointed to us fans
i think super mario 3d allstars is garbage crappy compilation game which should be in .miraheze crappy games list.
@@josephfrye7342 it's not even a compilation game it's basically what you would get if you crammed dolphin emulation software with ROMs that don't work well for the emulator into a tiny easily losable motherboard in a plastic case

@@matt25675 no it's just the fact that when it came to Nintendo making Super Mario 3D All Stars they lazily took the code from Emulated ROMs instead of doing the work that would need to be done to make an actual 3D All-Stars game.
Pirated and emulated are not synonymous but they do commonly (not always) overlap.

I fell in love with Rosalina vague backstory and how you get to progressively unlock the story bits as rosalina tells it to the Lumas.
Its sad that nintendo just hate to do story or backgroud like that now :'(

Bro the Galaxy games are like my favorite games of all time. As someone who loves Mario games and space these games were made for me. I’m still holding out hope for a Galaxy 3

I thought Galaxy 2 was left out so they could make a 2nd 3D All-Stars with Galaxy 2, 3D Land, and possibly 3D World or Odyssey in 2035. And possibly Galaxy 2 was released on the Wii because the 3DS wasn't ready until next year.
I actually liked galaxy 2 more than 1....still a little upset it was not in the 3D all stars game

I heard the theory that Super Mario Galaxy 2 wasn't in 3D All-Stars because it would be too hard to use Yoshi's pointer controls with the Joy-Cons, with its pointer controls not being as accurate as the Wiimote.
There are pointer controls in the first Mario Galaxy. Did they not implement that feature in the 3d All-Stars version either? If the Star Pointer feature was implemented, how would that make sense?
@@Wyatt_Sumner_Musician You use the pointer occasionally in SMG1, but in SMG2 Yoshi levels you're constantly having to use the pointer. In 3D All-Stars the pointer is prone to drifting around and has to be re-centered. So the theory is it was too much in SMG2.
@@MeesterTweester They could've just had the right stick replace the cursor and have a re-center button like in Skyward Sword HD

I’m kind of bummed out that we didn’t get a galaxy two but I simply think Nintendo only did the three games so then it looks nice because if there’s three games 3-D all stars so it’s all even three games 3-D
Does anyone remember back hearing rumors about super Mario Galaxy 3 in 2012 ,2013 & 2014 which never happened and honestly I really want to see a 3rd sequel. I thought that break the sequel to a very good 3D Mario game

Easliy the most clickbaity thumbnail he has ever made. He barely talked the fake DS port of the original Galaxy, he just talked about Super Mario 128 for the most part, then the first Galaxy and finally Galaxy 2. Plus, Galaxy 2 was never meant to be on the 3DS. Not to mention, the unnecesarly censorship on Rosalina. He used to be a great CZcamsr, now he makes clickbait with putting "BANNED" in the thumbnail and exaggerated titles.
Super Mario 128 is pretty much the ds edition of super Mario 64 because it had better graphics, Luigi, Yoshi, and Wario as playable characters
It also had 30 more stars

Yeah that's why I skipped out on 35th anniversary, even if I have controls without motion in Mario Galaxy, I already completed it and have on the wii, I have 64 on the wii u, Sunshine and Galaxy 2 are the only games I was missing, why would I get this just for Sunshine (whisper especially if I could emulate it), so if Galaxy 2 wasn't included, I wasn't getting it... though I probably should've just to scalp it lol.

Super Mario brothers 128 was planned for the GameCube but they decided against it
3d all stars shouldn't have been a port. This was nintendos chance to fix all the mistakes in this games. But in the end they just slapped it all together in a port and 📞 it a day
