Did Jesus have brothers and sisters?
In a couple of places, the gospels mention brothers and sisters of Jesus. The brothers are even listed as James, Joses, Simon, and Jude. Unnamed sisters are mentioned, too, in connection to Jesus.
Here are the two passages:
“’Is he not the carpenter, the son of Mary, and the brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?’” (Mark 6:3 with similar wording in Matthew 13:54)
In Mark 3 (also Matthew 12 and Luke 8) Jesus’s mother, brothers, and sisters come to see Jesus, but he points out to the crowd that his true mother and brothers and sisters include “whoever does the will of God.”
It might appear that Jesus had biological siblings, but this would be in opposition to the teaching of the perpetual virginity of Mary.
The Catholic Church teaches that Mary was “Ever-Virgin” meaning she never had relations with Joseph (her “most chaste spouse”).
So, how can we explain the mention of the brothers and sisters?
They are described in the original Greek text as adelphoi, which can mean brother and even sister but also step-brother, half-brother, cousin, or even neighbor.
So, it is possible that these brothers and sisters are actually close relatives like cousins. It is also possible that they were half-brothers and half-sisters from a previous marriage of Joseph.
How can we be sure?
If we look at the birth narratives and early stories of Jesus’s life and childhood, there is no mention of siblings. When Mary and Joseph return to Jerusalem looking for a young Jesus, there is no mention of other siblings to care for.
At the Cross, Mary is there with the disciple John to whom Jesus gives his mother. He didn’t expect James (who is often called the brother of the Lord) to take care of her or any of the other adelphoi. They are never connected in the Acts of the Apostles either.

What is the meaning of the word Beelzebub (or Beelzebul)? The name Beelzebub is used to refer to Satan (the devil) in the New Testament. The Symbolism of 12 in the Bible & Christianity

The number twelve is a significant symbol in the Bible and remained so for early Christianity. Originally, the number twelve was probably seen to be significant because there are 12 lunar months in a year. In other words, the moon completes a cycle from full moon to new moon about every 28 days. This is probably why it is no coincidence that ancient Greek mythology had Twelve Olympians as the m...

All those Fishy Stories about Jesus the Vegan Christ. By Dr. Chapman Chen, HKBNews Executive Summary: Instances of Jesus the Vegan Christ eating fish or helping His disciples to catch fish in the gospels are all products of either misinterpretation or later interpolation (cf. Chen 2023, 2022a, 2022b, 2020). I. Jesus miraculously aided Peter and his folk to catch a huge net of fish (Luke 5:1-11)? But Jesus then asked them to FORSAKE their NETS, follow Him and CATCH MEN INSTEAD OF FISH. Matthew 4:18-20 and Mark 1:16-18 also record this story albeit without the first part. II. Jesus directed Peter to go hook a fish and dig a coin from her/his mouth in order to pay a temple tax (Matthew 17:24-27)? This could not be real for, firstly, it was never executed; secondly, it's improbable that Jesus would have performed a complex miracle in order to pay his own tax; thirdly, how could Jesus, who died for animal liberation (Akers 2000), have had the heart to order his disciple to do such a cruel thing to an innocent fish? III. Jesus multiplied "five loaves and two fish" to feed the multitudes (Matthew 14:13-21, Mark 6:31-44, Luke 9:12-17, John 6:1-14)? However, Jesus therein broke and handed out loaves but not fish (Matthew 14). Moreover, the Greek word for fish (ἰχθύας) is a code word for " Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior" (Akers 2000); and "fish (opsarion)" may also be a mistranslation of the Greek word for "fishweed (opson)" (Hicks 2019; Giron 2013). IV. Luke's story of Jesus helping Peter to catch fish and His eating fish to prove to the eleven disciples on the very night of his Resurrection that he's no ghost is clearly a forgery, for both the date and the venue contradict Mark and Matthew (cf. Vujicic 2016). Full Text Link: www.hkbnews.net/post/all-those-fishy-stories-about-jesus-the-vegan-christ-by-dr-chapman-chen-hkbnews

Pretty good, but you miss the point entirely on heaven. Heaven is not where we belong. We are humans and we belong on earth. That is what God created us for. This much is clear from scripture, from Genesis when God first creates humans through Revelation, where the Bible ends not with us floating off to heaven, but God coming to dwell with us on earth. That is the whole point of "Your Kingdom come, your will be done ON EARTH as in heaven." This is our home and the whole meta narrative of scripture is how God can come live with us, and did, in the form of Jesus. Jesus will return not to take us away, but to live with us here on the recreated earth forever.

I believe Miriam physical mother of God Yeshua was a Virgin. He born without sin- as Saviour Lord God. However, his physical brothers and sisters did not require a Virgin birth . Or were they too saviours of the world?? Yeshua was man because his mother , the Virgin Miriam , was pure. His Father was the Holy Spirit. Sorry to hear you deny these facts as stated in the New Testament saying the Gospelis just innuendo???
