I have my gripes with the storytelling in this game. But goddammit, I would be lying if I denied how badass it is to see characters you liked, played with or played as, return as an enemy from your perspective. Tommy is fucking scary here. If it wasn't for the plot armor making him attack Abby with his rifle, rather than shoot her after kicking her or for Yara to suddenly appear out of nowhere, Tommy would've played Manny and Abby like a fiddle. He is genuinely scary in this encounter. He took his position, had a backup plan with the blocked doors and he would've won.
