What do you think of Freya's council? Who else will be on it?

Kratos having a social circle is something I'd have never predicted he'd have back in the days of the original games, but I'm glad he does 😊
The dwarves got screwed big time. Durlin had no idea that Odin was actually Týr, if he had I don't think that he would have sent Kratos and Atreus there
Even in death Odin still fks people over.😅
Really good point I never even thought of that. Durlin was a pretty obvious double agent from the get go and I think you’re absolutely right.
The Dwarfs f'ed Odin ask Sindri about that...oh and now they rule on their own don't need Odin or anyone else.@@zacharyhawley1693
I think he did know, I think Odin instructed him to give Kratos the map to “tyr”. Durlin rebelled and was severely punished and Odin kept a close eye on him ever since, holding him under his thumb so he had no choice but to comply.
Durlin definitely knew Odin was Tyr
Would love to see Midgard post-Fimbulwinter.
With all the people walking around.
All of Tyr's weapons were from sun gods. Khopesh for Ra, nodachi for Amaterasu and macuahuitl for Kinich Ahau. Easiest conclusion would be that Tyr's going to become god of the sun and maybe act as a liason between different pantheons. Makes sense since there's only 1 sun so they're technically all gods of the exact same thing.
What about the spear and shield though?
New Helios or the Norse sun god@@VideoGameSophistry
They're his own from before. They were on his statue. @@VideoGameSophistry
What about Sol and Mani? They are the siblings who rode in the chariots that Skoll and Hati technically pull as they chase the sun and moon. I know they were never brought up in the games, so does that just mean they don't exist in this world?
Was that actually a nodachi tho? Didn’t seem big enough
The problem with Skjoldr in game being the legendary King Skjoldr is that Hrolf Kraki lived many generations after him. Like, King Frodi (Skjoldr's son) rule placed around the 1st centuries and Hrolf's is placed in the 6th. Hrolf *is* a Skjǫldung, a descendent of Skjoldr.
God of War operates weirdly ie time travel, so anything can be possible.
True but Kratos already existing there this makes your statement a bit sluggish
It doesn't have to be accurate to mythology
Freya in this version of mythology is basically 2 gods in 1, Freya and frigg, Santa Mónica when he feels like it decides to be mythologically accurate.
@@lazarlocic5342 I agree
But that also means we can't use irl legends to accurately predict character futures
@@pedropierre9594 What do you mean by sluggish?
Kratos joining the council as the god of war probably made the elves chill out on their never ending war. I mean kratos by himself massacred the dark elf leader on a single visit to alfheim just because he needed access to the light. Then during ragnarok killed hundreds of light elves with absolutely 0 effort, and could’ve killed another prominent member of their society but literally just chose not too.
And while I get Kratos’ role as god of war would be to make sure no war crimes are committed, I feel like knowing that the god of war could literally just end any conflict by himself has likely got to stop anyone from actually starting war within the Norse realms ever again.
Also I really hope you’re wrong about mimir becoming the next lord of the dead, seems like an easy fit for Atreus to actually have a godly daughter with angraboda and that role just be filled her. I would much prefer if Mimir remains Kratos’ #1 advisor and brother. Splitting them up would definitely take away from future games and I feel like kratos explicitly sitting the throne with mimir immediately to his right tells us that this is how that relationship would continue. I don’t think kratos wants to rule WITHOUT Freya or Mimir with him.
Kratos out here being the nuclear threat to stop the elves from warring.
@@SuperGamefreak18 think about it, say they go to war and one group actually does step out of line and kratos just destroys them all lol
He joined AFTER they stopped fighting. The two things have nothing to do with one another.
I really wish Freyr didn’t didn’t die. He would have been Freya main support and I think together they would have solved problems like the dwarves
I truly don't think Mimir could govern Helheim being, well, just a talking head. Hraeselvgr at least has the advantage of being a towering corpse-eating eagle.
Might be possible if they finally give him a body which i think is gonna happen
Kratos:The God Of Hope!😎💣🔥💯📠
You know if Brok didn't die I could totally see him taking the role of leader of the dwarfs since he knows what he wants and what his people want. It just sucks he died maybe in the next god of war they find a way to either a) reunited brok soul and make it whole so he can have a afterlife or b) reunite his sould and bring him back to life I am sure if they did that first thing brok is doing if he comes back to life is tell of sidri and get him out of his depression. But hey its a nice idea hopefully they go with the idea.
No,if you're dead you stay dead
Could Atreus join the council as representator of Jotunheim? along with Angroboda?
*Angrboda, & I think Týr would be a more fitting representative for Jötunheim. After all, he’s also half-Giant, like Thor but he’s the only Aesir the Giants ever trusted.
@@touremuhammad5983 wait is he? i thought Odin and Tyr were in same age so it cannot be, remember when fake tyr met Freya for first time?
Atreus would be more fitting to being the representative of the Jotnar
@@kaushikhegde8227Atreus is a child and the dwarfs like sindri don't like him and durlin doesn't as well he don't set well with them. Also if anything Angrboda should represent Joti since both her parents are giants.
Atreus is more concerned with his mission to find the giants, who knows how long that will take.
My head cannon is Freya becomes Queen of the Gods, both Aesir and Vanir, with Mimir and Hildisvini as High Counselors of each clan. Vanaheim is renamed Hevenheim (similar to the Marvel Universe), as a “haven” to the Aesir and a Heaven to the Vanir as the highest cosmological realm in the world tree. Freya sets her palace/throne in the Goddess Falls as the perfect place to remember the union of Aesir and Vanir. The Crater is the major migration zone of the realm with Aesir and Vanir finally repopulating it after the dam was opened.
Freya’s Father, Njörd, returns after his disappearance/exile with the jotun Skadi as his wife. Skadi becomes Goddess of the Hunt and frees her followers from insanity (the Centaur Huntresses) helping the Aesir and Vanir with livestock protection from the dangerous flaura and fauna of Heven. Freyr’s camp is turned into a memorial built by the dwarves as a new contract and peace deal was made between them and the Guild of Dwarves that now control Nidavellir and is headed by Sindri.
The major gods living in Hevenheim are Freya, Njord, Skadi, Forseti (Baldur’s son), Tyr, Váli, Vidar, Bragi (Freyr’s lost son with the jotun Gerd, yes I know he is originally Odin’s son in the Myths but he is a god related to the arts to which Freyr wanted to be a Muse) and Idunn (Bragi’s wife and Freya’s new handmaiden, the sorceress responsible for the Golden Apples of Eternal Youth).
After Ragnarok, almost all Valkyries/Shield Maidens fell except for Sigrun, Eir and Gunnr, so they started recruiting new Shield Maidens. Thrúd was the first recruit now wielding Mjolnir as the new goddess of thunder and the physically strongest valkyrie to ever live. Her mother, Sif, also decided to join the valkyries to keep an eye on her. Gerd, Freyr’s widow, also joined along with Idunn as Freya’s most successful apprentice. Hnoss and Gersemi also appear as Baldur’s twin sisters and join the Valkyries after reuniting with their mother (who they did not meet because of her exile).
Regarding, Nidavellir, Sindri became the leader of the Guild and used it to gain full control over the Dwarf Realm and was proclaimed as the new King of the Dwarves after Motsognir as the only legendary blacksmith still alive and now renamed Eitri (like in the myths) as “Sindri” died with Brok, joining Freya’s Peace Council as the representative of Nidavellir. Dragons and Trolls are now enchanted by the Dwarves to protect them and their realm as well as doing the heavy lifting in their craft. A new peace deal was made with the gods as Eitri still respects Freya, with the gods providing nourishment to the Dwarves from their fertile lands while the Dwarves use their skills to rebuild and rebrand Vanaheim’s infrastructure as a mix of Aesir style and industry with Vanir magical and natural habitats.
Jotunheim was repopulated by Loki and Angrboda who have used soul magic to rebirth the Jotnar in new Giant Bodies. Now the jotnar have all the ability to switch between their original form and their Giant/Animal form. Loki and Angrboda had a biological child, 75% giant and 25% god who would later become the new ruler of Helheim or Hel after Hræsvelgur’s retirement. Jotnar and Dwarf relations aren’t pretty as Loki and Sindri are their respective leaders so all decisions are mediated by Freya.
Awesome gameplay Fam 😊
Thank you. This game is awesome.
the valhalla ost gives me such skyrim vibes i love it, LOVE IT!
No news about Sindri. Could have had some kind of update on him..
Yeah fr
I think the next game in the series will be a stand alone atreus game 10-20h(even if i don't like that idea, but at this point this is what sony does with their IP's) and sindri will probably be either an anti hero or what i think is more likely he will be the antagonist or be a helper for the main villain(craft weapons, armour and shit) but he will be redeemed in the end
I want kraots as the god of hope go to all these pantheons are spread hope and if a pantheon is evil and do alot of bad things to humans.. kratos will fight save the people from their pantheon
He's going to talk to the evil gods first if they don't cooperate then it's killing time
I dont think Kratos will part with the Smartest Man Alive when his new position could use much of his insights and point of views.
Kratos will just grunts and say boi occasionally while Mimir interprets what he says in the council meeting.
Did you even play Ragnarok
@@themaseofspades6857 nope doesn't have a ps5 yet.
I got a feeling the next installment will be about kratos and the councils going to Egypt for diplomacy.
Yeah and further in the future i think after they make diplomatic relationships with many pantheons they will go to war with the higher plane of existence
Will Atreus be apart of the council, as the Ambassador of the Jotnar?
been on that Valhalla sh*t ❤
To be honest I don’t think that skilder would represent Midgard I think no one will or Tyr will because I’m pretty sure tyr will be in the counsel probably representing the realms beyond or the realm between realms in that matter I do think ratatoskr would have a role too
How about a video about all the powers and abilities that Tyr can do?
His Thor re skin imo.

@@altair227not even close wtf lmao. You better say the same thing about heimdall and odin cuz thats how little sense it makes
@@Cy2o9 no the air attack is literally Thor re skin and also the spear hits kinda like the fist hits Thor do. Some attacks are similar and the same others not.
Tbh was expecting since Tyr left his title, doesn't mean he left entirely and retired, he's Tyr, still a God, yes probably not a God of War but his knowledge can help the people to stave off conflict, or else Kratos has to come down from his rocking throne LOL.
And really i just want to know if Hel (the supposed ruler of Helheim) will exist since the other two Loki's "Children" did, i don't mind Mimir stepping up for the giant Hawk, but if he has no body, or any limbs, while the giant hawk is.... a giant hawk, i don't exactly see Mimir as the ruler of Hel just yet.
Would've been grand if Atreus and Angrboda representing Jotunnheim, as for the Dwarfs, who knows, would've been okay if there's someone new, since i think Durlin is ready to retire and live his days in peace (since he's not a God).
What about týr? Is he going to be part of the council?
Hopefully he can represent Jötunheim.
It would be cool but the problem is all giants in jotunheim are dead so there isn't really any point
Seems like he doesn’t want to be part of the council based on other dialogue. He doesn’t even want to be part of the pantheon/regarded as a god anymore
Bro is just gonna be chilling in valhalla 😂
wish they could add hel so the leader for helheim is clear and accurate to norse myth..only fenrir and jorgy was added as children of loki and angrboda..
I wonder if there’s a way for him to get a new body
As good as this Council idea sounds, sometimes they don't work. A camel is a horse designed by committee, but we will see how the game treats it.
@kaushikhegde8227 Atreus is a child and the dwarfs like sindri don't like him and durlin doesn't as well he don't set well with them. Also if anything Angrboda should represent Joti since both her parents are giants.
The only other person to replace the egal lady if not mimir would be helia. Let’s hope it’s mimir as nobody wants that crazy lady
I see nobody is talking about how kratos sat on mimirs head 😭😭
I think Atreus should mate with Thrud.
And their son should be Cu Chulainn. In the Celtic Region.
No Mimir hate Helheim, I feel like he will stay by Kratos side.
If Kratos is now duty bound, i dont know how he could move onto Agypt or w.e.
Actually that is a good point, but i've seen a comment about how the next gow will be about the council doing either diplomatic relationship or saving another patheon. This way we can still see our favorite characters but in another mythologie which would be cool IMO.
And i think after they become friends with many pantheons in the end all of them will go to war with the higher plane of existence.
i was the 5th to arrive.... and the others b4 me were morons
I think freya is now Odin
İsnt kratos new odin
It sounds like she wants a council to govern the realms.
Edit ~ Add-on. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
I commented too soon. Lol.
I hope they make hella somehow
Hel is a daughter of Loki so if they decide to continue with the norse myth we should see her in the next game. Probably only as a child
@@Mystic_Edge1 but fenrir is supposed to be loki's child and he's his pet jormengondr is lokis kid to so
@@playerblu3694 I can see why the devs choose the route of those too. But Hel is a actual God so I can see her actually getting introduced as Loki's child jormengonder and fenrir are more mystical animals and very hard to prove that they are Loki's children personally I always found that fucked up any ways lol
Something tells me the council will fail and fall apart
It might but i don't think it will be in the next game or the one after that. It might happen in the future tho
The studio said Ragnarok was the last Norse entry. So I think the “if I once again lose everything and everyone will I be able to not become you (young Kratos)” is a hint that somehow his current friends will betray him or he loses them somehow, thus why he moves on for the next big game.
They could instead make him an emissary, but that lacks drama and trauma.
Thanks for spoiling the DLC ending
It's hard to listen to the narrator. Is this a ai voice?
democracy good monarchy bad, yawn. More leftoid tropes.
I hope mimir stays with kratos in all future games man, can’t separate them
