About capto tools, what will happen if chips will stuck inside bolt head socket? Robot will send error message or tool wont be tighten properly? This looks cool, but what about actual performance? :)
Thank you very much for your question! Since this is a demo, the process of cleaning chips with air before tool change is omitted, but there is no problem with automatic tool change. We also manage torque and can confirm the tightening. When dealing with small chips, it may be difficult to notice them, which is why we measure with an automatic tool setter after the tool change. If the measured value exceeds a certain threshold, the operation will be stopped. We can make proposals tailored to the customer's needs.

Fantastic commitment by Nakamura Tome. I now understand how the 2 machines we had since 1983 dry machining SG iron castings lasted for over 25 years without major mechanical breakdowns. Ran 24/6 too.

This is painful to listen to, it is unfortunate that your company can not afford an attractive Japanese lady with good English to give this presentation. A few diagrams of parts being made and machining paths being tested would be nice fillers.
