can't wait for the day i can put a nakamura on my shop floor and watch the parts drop off it. how about a video on your control it looks very modern, can you show some functions , features and usage of it? no one ever shows this part off. what the underlying hardware, is it fanuc or your own?

The NC of Nakamura-Tome machines uses FANUC.
Regarding machine operation, there is an instruction manual provided upon purchasing the machine, so please refer to that.

How was the block-shaped component clamped for rear-end machining on the NTY^3-100V by the sub-spindle?

While this workpiece is in block shape, when machining it with the R-spindle, we are chucking by grasping the rounded protrusion on the workpiece.

By using the soft jaws, it is possible to chuck even square-shaped components with a 3-jaw chuck.
