Due to the paddles, the internals on an elite are different (slightly) to the standard controller. I am unable to say if this would work. There are 2 different versions of the kit for different models of standard controller. Check the extremerate website to see what it says would be my advice. Personally, I wouldn’t try putting it in an elite.

Wow, you’ve had some issues. I hope you get them resolved. Yeah, it would be good if Microsoft could provide a repair or controller modification service at a reasonable cost.

Going through the same thing with my elite series 2. The back grips and side grips just started peeling off. Where did you find a replacement back shell though ? I think I seen them somewhere but none of them come with the rubber grips like the elite does from the factory. It’s just smooth like the front grips of this guys orange face plate.

It won’t connect to a device just using Bluetooth, you have to use the dongle. My understanding was that the dongle connectivity was a form of bluetooth but perhaps it is a different method. Whatever the protocol is, you can’t use it wirelessly without the provided dongle. Thanks for letting me know.

No. You have to have the software installed on any computer you use it on. if you want to use the settings on multiple computers you need to export the configuration from 1 computer and load it on to the others.

I find that with controllers that have hair triggers which are really short, they feel harder to press, I guess due to muscle memory. The Scuf triggers are exceptionally short when in hair trigger mode and do sometimes feel uncomfortable to press.

To a degree, perhaps yes. If this was my first such device and was someone who would see consistent usage through the day on something like photoshop it would be absolutely fine I think. I've been spoiled by the Stream Deck though and I'm a user that hops from app to app and doesn't sit at the computer all day which makes this a little less viable for me.

I still haven't worked it out.

I prefer the VICTOR. The feel of the buttons is much of a muchness. It’s the multiple profiles that give it the edge.

Hmm, in between. They are not as sensitive as Elite paddles but you certainly don’t need to press hard. They are clicky. Quite similar to the face buttons actually.

You’ll need a different for different games, so if you play a variety of games it’s likely it’ll be helpful, your elden ring settings will be much different than fortnite for example

So pretty much if you use different mapping of the buttons for different games it makes it so you can switch between them quickly if I understand

Hi Andy. Thanks for subscribing. I don't have DaVinci, I am a Final Cut user. The dial allows you to set key commands for clockwise and anti-clockwise. If your software allows you to scrub using a shortcut (arrows, +/- or so on) then you will be able to configure the dial to do this. Looking it up, DaVinci supports single frame forward and back using the arrow keys so you will be able to use the dial with DaVinci for scrubbing. The only thing I would say is that any dial I have ever used, including the Quick Keys, can struggle with high speed usage and is rarely as smooth as i would like it to be. If you pick this up from Amazon you have loads of time to return it if it doesn't meet your needs so maybe that's an option for you if you have concerns.

My project controller has everything you mentioned except the Clicky buttons (that’s next) and the drift fix. Well, and the d-pad/metal sticks but I have used elite controller magnetic sticks and d-pad before so I am sure they would work.

Late response... the stream deck is great, a fantastic too. I started on the regular one but soon moved on to the XL as I needed more buttons available quickly for producing my competitive casts. I'd like to try out the Stream Deck + but I don't think there is really enough of a use case for me right now to spend that much. Maybe if I started streaming again but not at the moment :(

Hi. I’m not sure what your question is. Do you mean can you put elite grips on a standard controller? If that’s what you mean then I think the answer is no.

@@giovannigiorgio2262 If you go to gamingcobra.com you will find good options for grips there. There are quite a few textured grips that are really good. the code TOOTXB will get you a 10% discount too. I've put their grips on all of my controllers.
