They are nice buttons.
The triggers on the back is exactly why I opted for the tournament edition, even though it has less triggers they are much easier to hit.

i want to buy Razer Wolverine Ultimate , but some people say that stick resistance is too low, its true? And even you set up deadzone in to 0 in games its stil have? wort it to buy? it still works after s few years ?
Hi. I got rid of this controller a long time ago and cannot remember much about it. The stick resistance though always felt like it was much more responsive than other controllers to me.
Can you remap the M5 and M6 to other buttons besides the agile and other ones, such as up on the dpad and abxy?
Yes, you can :) I can't recall if you can do d-pad but you can certainly do the other buttons.
I get stick drift too, put your Left Stick Deadzone to 7 and Right to 6. All good then for me! Also I only get stick drift for Siege and no other FPS game
I wondered if its unique to Siege. Siege probably has a smaller deadzone than a lot of games. I think games like Forza default to around 10 for example.

A lot of people love the Razer. I prefer the Elite V2 though.
Same bro, mine started having issues within 6 months and it was such a pain
I heavilly recommend this video for anyone who is interrested in buying one of these (or the newer Wolverine V2 Chroma, which is essentially an updated model.)
The build quallity is top-notch, and I've loved the clicky face buttons since I got my first Razer Sabertooth controllers. I'm glad to see that they had staying power.
I have no problems reaching the extra buttons, as I have rather long fingers. I still agree, and fully understand that your hands might be different.
I find it rather strange though, that this controller comes with extra stick-and-D-pad variations, but nothing to ease the reach for those oddly placed extra back buttons. Isn't that weird?
Now, I'm acustomed to Razer products being either hit or miss, as about half of their things I've absolutely loved, while the rest left me almost wanting to boycott the company altogether (Razer Forge TV being one of them.)
My impression of this controller sadly adhers to the latter.
For me, this was a complete waste of monney, and I should have looked elsewhere. This simply due to the lack of button costomization. I bought it to be able to map more (custom) bindings to it so I could play PC exclusive titles that utilizes more buttons than exists on a standard gamepad.
And: No, software like XPadder won't recognize any of the extra buttons, so there's simply no way around this (unless someone makes a firmware hack that changes the input method from xna to direct x, or something along those lines).
In my blizzful world of ignorance, there's got to be a software way to validate the control scheme if the situation could be exploited through custom bindings - instead of just hard-code enforcing these restrictions regardless. It's anti-consumer and it ruins a perfectly fine gamepad with excellent build quallity and ergonomics.
That's my contribution to this review.
TLDR: The feel of it is very premium. Has a truely great build quallity, but unfortunately it comes with a very policed and restrictive approach to "customization". Your mileage with adapting to the button placement may vary. At the end of the day, the price tag is hard to justify. This ends up being a completely lost opportunity to some. Be wary.
I got the fusion pro off Amazon for £36. And I love it!
I see them at £62. They look like a cross between an elite and scuf prestige.
By the way the sensitivity feels faster because of the other formed stixks

Can I use Android cable for my Razer tournament edition wolverine Xbox one controller?
I haven't see the Tournament. The Ultimate uses a bespoke connection though, you wouldn't be able to use just any cable with it.
I mean I ordered it from amazon and I liked it but the only thing about it was that it didn't allow me to use my kontrol freeks I ordered since the joy sticks were a bit more big so it didn't fit. Also I'm going to oder the new Xbox elite controller coming out this November. Also I really like your videos and keep up the gold work hop your channel grows.
Hey, thanks for the support Sergio :) A friend I play with asked about fitting Control Freeks on this. I wasn't sure as I don't have them but I did compare the Wolverine stick to an Elite stick and you are right, the Wolverine sticks are a little larger. Good to know they don't fit. I'm looking forward to the Elite 2. Its a shame they have priced it so high, I am hoping it lives up to the cost.

i have this conroller but there is one very big flaw to it, the silver pain coating it has on the bumpers flakes off and goes inside the controller very easy, this had led to my controller's bumpers either double registering constantly or not working at all, its gotten that bad about a year into use so i cant claim a replacement on its warrentee, other than that its a real nice controller, just dont expect it to work well at all a year into use
Funnily enough I think in some of the photos I used you can see a very small bit where the light is shining through the sliver top bit because its slightly flaked. I took these pictures when it was new out of the box.

My elite series 2 broke what’s better and more durable Razer Wolverine Ultimate or Razer Wolverine Tournament?
Neither of them are better than the elite in my book. Durable... I don’t know as I had the ultimate but not for a long time. I would expect them to be very similar. The tournament edition is probably a more sensible choice though.

Hi. You can make profiles so you can save setups and change the one loaded on the controller depending on the game but the Razer Wolverine does not allow you to remap any button other than the extra paddles/bumpers unfortunately.
So you can't program to tactical with cod?and do the thumb sticks even click?and if so how do you hold your breath to snipe?thanks again, and thanks for your time grate video 2.
I bought the wolverine ultimate edition a few days ago, I'm very happy with it but I too am disappointed with the inability to remap the buttons in the software however steam allows it and that's all I need.
Where in Steam can you remap the keys? I was looking at this to do the same thing.

I got a power A xbox fusion pro controller and underneath brake button broke in 6 months my old 360 controller lasted 3 4 yrs never get power a again so I ordered a razer Wolverine ultimate with 2 yr return if broken they replace
I like gas brake handbrake and rev underneath and I like how they setup the controller up. I felt it at friends feels great in hands only using for racing and now I have case kb mouse mouse pad controller headset all razer let's see how it is in 2 yrs it here
I have never tried Power A but a lot of people say they are good.
Idk how i feel about the back paddles, im soo used to relaxing my fingers on elite paddles but i do love this controller
It’s a great controller but I just can’t use it well. The paddles definitely aren’t right for me either.
TootXB I have it now and im slowly getting use to the paddles but its still not completely comfortable like elite
I agree. I have yet to find a controller with extra paddles that feel as natural as the Elite setup.

Erm, I don’t know to be honest. You need software to remap buttons but I would expect it will work like any other controller in terms of pairing with your pc and using it.

It would help you jump or crouch spam... that’s the kind of game controllers like this are designed for tbh.

Erm... I can't remember I don't have the controller anymore. I think 0 is standard setting to be honest.

Well, that's a video I still need to do ;) I do find myself using the Elite more regularly though. I just feel more like I know what I am doing with that controller.

@@supportops183 don't lie you don't have both controllers. You've never played on the Razer.
It sucks that it's not wireless. I know they say it's wired to reduce latency, but it's really because MS does not allow any third party companies to use their Xbox Wireless protocol for controllers.
I was disappointed that you mentioned that sometimes the face buttons don't register a press if you're not pressing them dead centre, cos that's the exact issue I've had with the A button on 4 separate Elite Series 2 controllers. After having 4 with the same issue I opted for a refund.

@@TootXB I'm back on a first gen Elite now. I've had a couple of issues with them (grips coming off, bumpers breaking), but the one I'm currently using has held up OK. I can't go back to a controller without paddles now and I really like the placement of them with the Elites.
The old Elite is still good. Interesting you have had the issue on 4 Series 2 controllers. I haven't noticed it on my one yet.
@@TootXB Yeah, it sucks. I noticed it straight away when I was just browsing the dashboard with it, cos sometimes I pressed A to go into settings or whatever and it didn't work. I thought it was the dashboard being laggy, but it was the A button not working all the time. I used the test mode in the Xbox Accessories app and unless I was pressing A dead centre, it sometimes wouldn't register, while with the other 3 face buttons it was fine. There's tons of people with the same issue in the megathread for the Elite Series 2 on Reddit, with some people having 8 or 9 all be faulty out of the box: - www.reddit.com/r/xboxone/comments/drndrm/elite_controller_series_2_megathread/
Yeah I just ordered this yesterday because after 3 months of moderate to heavy use my elite series 2 left analog button no longer clicks, the right trigger sticks as well as the a button. Left a bad taste in my mouth so I hope the razer will hold up for me.

They are all made from the same base controller pretty much so it is likely.
I'm certain there's a valid reason you cannot macro with a tournament edition device..... Surely that's a logical thought process you could have mentioned
Hello. I don’t like doing long videos, I was disappointed I could only get this one down to 17 minutes to be honest. I mentioned that due to being a tournament controller you can’t have macros but it’s a review of a controller that, if we are honest, is going to be bought by non-pro players for the most part. If you don’t play pro, the reason for not being allowed macros (also not supported by the Elite or Scuf controllers) is kind of irrelevant and I didn’t want to really spend time on anything that is not relevant to what the device does. The fact is, it doesn’t allow it. If you do play pro then you already know why you can’t have macros. These are among the reasons why I didn’t sidetrack into that discussion and just left it as it is. I’d rather put the time into what it does rather than focus on why it doesn’t do X Y or Z.
If anyone watching my videos has questions you are more than welcome to ask in the comments. I try to reply and be helpful to everybody if I can be.
In case you don’t know, macros are not allowed due to getting an unfair advantage :) recoil control, complex button combos (in the case of a fighting game for example) being a part of a controller brings in a pay to win with no skill element that has no place in a competitive environment.

What you say makes sense and I understand. But what initially made me comment what I did and I'm guessing that others got it too is that it sounded like you had knocked it for its lack of capabilities to macro.
Ah, ok. I didn’t really see it that way. It was just more about being clear that wasn’t something on offer. The reason for this is that I have done controller stuff before where I never mentioned that kind of thing. However, people comment about it asking questions and this time round I just thought I would say it doesn’t have it :) I’ll take this onboard for next time. I still have my Elite 2 and Scuf Prestige to review so will think a bit about the presentation of those. Thanks

I only had one for a short period of time and I struggled with it. The cable setups had to be very specific and I found it very difficult to get a combination that worked for me and still allowed me to record voice audio.
@@TootXB Hmm. The mixamp has it's own stream audio output ? Ofc I don't know your setup and what model where you using etc. I have just used it 6 years and still works very well. Can't / don't want to play without it. Surround rounds rocks
I struggled with it due to needing to record voice for videos. You need a complicated setup to do it with console it seems. I tried the stream port but I got feedback and quite often when using the mixamp there would be a low level buzz on recorded audio. I couldn't find anything explaining how to resolve it so I gave up. I still have it though. I don't have these issues with the Turtle Beach Superamp though (other than the volume being so loud my party chat can hear themselves a little bit.
If this doesnt develop stick drift than its worth it.
With rainbow six siege it had stick drift for me. I resolved it by upping the deadzones slightly.

14:18 what the hell such an expensive controller and then that ? Almost no game has a setting for dead zone. I mean how is this a thing in an totally expensive controller o.O
Some games do have dead zone settings at the moment (certainly the few I have played away) but yeah, I imagine its not a common feature.
