I also hate that Sam-Perseus leapt and spun in the air with his eyes closed before cutting Medusa's neck. While Harry-Perseus just waited behind a column, frozen by terror unable to do stupid Sam acrobatic moves. He only had one chance to kill her while trying to guess the height of Medusa's neck based on her reflection on the shield. Very suspenseful. I also like that after slashing her neck, he sags to the floor, in cold sweat, still shaken. Very relatable.

I was 12 the first time I saw this movie. This is when I got fascinated by mythology and fantasy adventure movies. And started reading those kinds of books. Just realized this is the new version. Not the old one. The original one will always be the best one.
