I used to have Rats . They’re very smart & affectionate too. I could never have a snake because you have to feed them live food. I know just how you feel! It’s horrific to see them being treated so badly. I love you & your big heart to save all these thrown away babies. God is watching you and crying for joy that someone is caring for His babies. His gifts to us all.

can I ask you sir, what were the legal requirements to safely travel via ferry with the birds? I too, live on an island (italy) and if my emu eggs don't hatch, the next plan is to bring a live emu home, but I worry about age restrictions and regulations. I'm considering the option of ferry for transport.

I know there are fewer Praying Mantis each year my 5 year old granddaughter saw one on her porch. We watched it for close to 15 minutes. It was so interesting. But then we got to watch it poop. Might grose someone but I looked at it as amazing. So far when my granddaughter talk about it she does too,.

Beautiful video, sir. I'm on day number 55, and I hope I have life. I hadnt been as diligent as you in the weighing process. I had several issues with my incubator and we needed to buy a new one and switch out 1/3 of the way through incubation. fingers crossed.

I love what you do, wish I could do it as well, but my Florida back yard is a little small😢… but you have inspired me to contact my wonderful local teaching zoo, …perhaps I can train to be a volunteer, to help with such birds or hatchings?.. …Around here there is much interest is in dolphins and Manatees, and other water “citizens”… I’m also sure our flamingos and other sea birds have a pretty large fan club.( until one swoops down and steals an ice cream cone, or sandwich out of their hands!😳🤣 …But I have especially loved emus, Since, I was about 5 and my father almost moved to the Australia for a job….Everybody was on board, except at the last minute my mom was not so sure because of my brother. (while she said I was built like a horse and was such a strong outside and animal person that I could survive anywhere! 💪🥰)…MY brother was the exact opposite than myself…as he always was having breathing and lung issues. from infant, (he is a fine healthy man now, thank goodness)… but I seriously used to beg my dad for just him and I to go to Australia and then we could come and visit mom and my brother once a year 😂😂… …I continued this until about age 11… then told him I would stop if I could have an emu😮!!!.. … I Finely settled for a horse that all the cousins could ride and I got to feed it, muck out the stall, bath it with a hose and a ladder, then everything else till her coat shone! …. (She was an “ almost albino” horse, almost white with blue eyes … as Albinism is not found in Horses, that is what her vet said) …I called her slipper as her eyes made me think of Cinderella’s glass slippers!.. The cousins thought it was crazy name, but I said “mucker of the stall, is namer of the horse”😂😂😂😂😂❤…. …We actually got her from my grandfather as he thought she was going to be on the small side, and figured, he could not breed or sell her for much… So…yay us🎉 … I am over 70 now, and sadly..well away from the farm, but my heart and spirit is still animal owned. In my mind I am still 12 and riding bareback, with my braids flying in the Wind with Slipper!… My “wonder horse !!!😊😊😊😊😊Peace and God bless all!!❤
