On this fun and lighthearted episode, Rebecca and I talk all about the Democratic National Conference, and the stark difference between the Republican's RNC and this DNC, and a host of things that makes the Democratic Party seem more substantive and grounded than the very unserious and policy-less Trump and Republicans right now. We go into all the best moments, the main takeaways, and our best advice on how we must enjoy these moments, but be prepared for the epic election battle and the chicanery Trump and his acolytes will try to pull going into the general election just 71 day away.
At the end of the day, we ought to enjoy these high moments, get totally inspired and high off the love and compassion, then come back down to earth and sober up to the harsh realities, realizing that many undecided voters and Republicans don't necessarily share our values or our ability to comprehend these matters. So, we must get out there and convince the uninitiated of what we know, to be on the right side of history, and deny Trump and his goons from ever taking office as POTUS, thus fundamentally dismantling and mutating America and its freedoms and liberties as we know and appreciate them today. This episode is informative, insightful, and still fun!

I can also relate to being enamored with Superman's core values as a youngster. Back then, it seemed TV & movies were consistent in uplifting characters with moral integrity. Even the Star Trek series/movies had a strong sense of ethics in their storytelling. This is a more turbulent time, and we are all trying to navigate it. Thanks for understanding that, as flawed as the Democrats are, they are still the party, right now, trying to implement policies to help the working class of all backgrounds.

I agree, I think that the thing that will make the difference is the Family Principle, Family as an idea of human unity, to start to speak up and out on the family practices of Care, kindness, respect, tolerance, patience, understanding, empathy, warmth, brotherhood, participation ect, to take it serious and really start to look and treat eachother as family, brothers and sisters under God. However it is that one looks at God its cool, just a Force above all of us we can unite under and call each other family, bros, friends.

Great inaugural video! Really relevant topic and I agree with Rebecca that men need to drive this change in behavior. When us women try to do it we are perceived as being bitchy, nagging, etc. It gets tiresome being expected to have to constantly coddle alpha male egos. BTW Rebecca, your hair looks fabulous!
