Kamala's VP Pick, A New Hope, Normal Politics v Just Plain Weird

On this episode we talk about Kamala Harris' vice presidential pick, people's restored hope and excitement for the presidential race, and how we got here from normal politics to the politics of weird, and how the right has leaned into and doubled downed on their terrible policies and extremist rhetoric, rather than retooling and opting for policies that average working class could get behind. Instead, they act bizarre, push for aggressive and unusual policies, and somehow, Joe Biden was slated to be defeated by Trump, the worst and most extreme and lowdown candidate of our lifetime?! How is this even possible?! What does it say about undecided voters and our political literacy as a country?
It's a presidential election this year, and we don't always talk politics. But in unprecedented times, we think it's extremely in important that we all understand what's going on and what we should all be thinking about. Because we care about the mental health and good living for regular working class people, politics directly ties to our quality of life, and so, we feel it's especially important to be open and frank about the state of our sociopolitical landscape today. But we talk about things in a way that's different from the political pundits, because it's always coming from the perspective of how these things impact regular people living in these irregular times?
We put out a lot of content than just politics, and once things stabilize and no more big news drops, we will move on to other topics, so please bear with us! We always advocate for good regular folks because that's what we are and that's who we care about. We always keep it light and fun most of the time. So please enjoy, and remember we're not a political channel, we just do it when it's necessary. We can't wait to move on to other things we're excited to share with you!
