Thing is, with tournaments in my first experience I lost within 3 rounds so I started to grind fighting games, then next time I went to a tournament I won. (First tournament was pax 2024 tekken 7 and second tournament was a local with 7 ppl. Felt awesome)

The mods point is so reductive. Sure if you have to install like 5-10+ quality of life mods to reduce grinding, make it easier, remove sections or enemies you dislike or other core game changes just to play it then yea you just dislike the game. But if you are just doing cosmetic stuff or playing overhaul mods that change the core experience or add new layers to it then that's a whole nother thing. You can't compare a SF6 costume mod to a Skyrim overhaul that turns it into Morrowind or adds entirely new areas to the game like an expansion to a mod that seeks to basically create an entirely new game from the bones of the original like a lot of the bigger Fallout mods

I like smash 64 competitively since a game you can actually lab. If you try to lab combos in any other game, everything is fake. You do a combo in training mode in 64, that shit is real 99% of the time. Mainly since the only other way to learn is just to fight people for 100000 hours in a smash game, as you do.

This feels like AsumSaus without any of the charisma.
