HOW TO: Easy Wakeboard Tricks
In this video I run through one of the most fun and versatile low-impact wakeboarding tricks - the butter slide.
One of the major factors in keeping fun on a wakeboarding is not going out and taking hard crashed continuously. The butter slide is a great low risk - high reward to get started with because it starts basic and then can grow with your riding; and it'll always stay fun.
This video breaks down hat a butter slide is, the steps towards figuring it out, feelings to look for and recognize, as well as how to progress it as you get more and more comfortable on a wakeboard.

Hey man I'm looking at the supreme. Biggest it comes is a 145. I weigh 225. Just seeing if it'll be too small for me or not? If so I'll look at the rxt that comes at 148. Thanks
Hey! I think the 145 will work well! It stays pretty wide through the tips so plenty of surface area. It’s also pretty fast on the water so that’ll help too. Hope you love it!!🙌

does the tige make a better wakeboard wake than an ATX. I tried an ATX recently and could not get the wake to cooperate. Surf wave was fine on the ATX. Rest of the boat was fairly nice.
The wake on my 22RZX is great! Possible the ATX just wasn't set up right, I've had quite a few fun sets behind them, especially the 22 ATX. If you have any questions on wakeboard wake set up for a specific model definitely reach out! I've gotten to ride behind most of the Tigé and ATX line🙌

Wakethief question please : i am a wakefoiler + pumpfoiler on a Lake. I want to catch a wave from a passanger ship, my pumping speed is normaly 10mph, the ship is crusing about 7 mph. How can i catch the waves without sinking ? ? ? Thx Peter
Hey Peter, I haven’t done this specifically. 7mph is pretty slow, but if you are able to keep momentum moving side to side (carving the wave left and right) you may be able to keep your foil’s speed high enough to keep lift, even though you’re only moving forward at 7mph

I still like the green board graphic you have in your profile picture most. I actually have that green supreme board, but never got used to it's speed. But I'm thinking about trying it out again.
The green one was rad too! Yeah, I loved that originally shape, but when we changed the shape starting in the 2023 Model year we made it significantly faster. Hope h love it when you get back on it!

From your experience, what watersport is the most fun and beginner-friendly when being towed behind a jetski? Foiling, wakeboarding or water skiing? We just got a jetski and we’re trying to decide which one to get into
I’d say they can all be a blast, but wakeboarding behind the jetski is probably the most versatile!
Got the 2023 Supreme this year and it is by far my favorite board I've ever ridden. Has a ton of kick but also super fast on the water. Lands super soft as well. Could not ask for a better board!

So, it seems like it should be the same feeling as if you cut in pretty hard and go for a powerslide at the bottom of the wake..?
Pretty close to it, but you’re not necessarily putting force on the board into turning away, just letting your body square up when you let go with your back hand.
How fast is the boat going?
When you’re starting to catch the wave, typically somewhere between 10-11mph !

Our boat doesnt make a great wave so getting rod of the wake surf rope is difficult and since my end goal is foilboarding i figure eff it, im switching to foilboarding instead. I already hydrofoil on the air chair so i get that part. Now i gotta get a foilboard and get back out there.

Hey Jake! Thanks a bunch for the content! Just curious what is the boat set up? Are you engaging the surf system? Any ballast? And what is your speed preference? To that, what does faster or slower boat speed correlate to on the foil?
Hey! I usually run about half ballast, but you can definitely leave the boat pretty light, even empty when learning. I do engage the surf system on the side you’re foiling on. My speed is usually around 11.6-11.8. The faster you go, the more sensitive the foil will be, so it can be a little tougher to learn. Once your comfortable, though, speeding up a bit let’s you have more freedom with pumping around, recovering, and letting you really engage the wing in turns. So starting off around 10mph is a good place to learn to control the foil, then once you’re letting go of the rope speeding up a bit can be helpful.
What size you ride and what's your lbs? Are you favouring a longer board than previous years?
I ride the 141 and weight about 175lbs. I have been on the same size for a while, but with how light boards are now I think you can get away with riding a little bigger!
