  • In this video, I break down some of the easiest, low-impact tricks to start incorporating into your wakeboarding. These include Crossing the Wake, Riding Switch, and Jumping the Wake (Regular and switch).
These tricks are some of the important building blocks for progressing on a wakeboard, and also add such a fun element to riding once you're comfortable being up and on a board.
This video starts with how to cross over the wake heelside and toeside, then goes over how to switch and rider switch on a wakeboard, then finally gets into how to build comfort jumping the wake.
Even if you've been wakeboarding for a while and have one or more of these elements under control, I highly recommend checking all of these boxes before moving on too much in your riding. It'll really make a huge difference in overall board control and keeping the door open for progressing for a long time.
Wakeboarding is all about keeping it fun on the water and one of these ways is by finding small ways to challenge yourself. It doesn't always have to be pushing towards the biggest air and tricks on a wakeboard -- there is a ton of fun to be had while challenging yourself with low-impact riding.
Hope this video is helpful and you enjoy it! ✌️

Do you offer paid lessons if I come to orlando? You seem like a great teacher. Let me know how we can link up. Trying to learn my first toeside backroll.
