No need to color, tamper with it. Leave it as it is, as it was meant to be. I'm against the colorization of any movie. It was filmed in B&W for a reason & no one has the right to alter, tamper with a work of art. Such arrogance. Besides in looks cheap & horrible both in an artistic & technical stance.

I'd imagine a Beatles live hologram show like Abba's in London. In short, the technology exists to create the holograms from real people but it doesn't yet exist to do it from film.....watch this space

I think using A.I. is a good tool but I'm afraid it's going to be used so much to the point things will just get watered down.

As far as I know, though it's never been factually stated by any of them, the 4 Beatles were never all together in each other's company again after the 60's ended, that being the photo-shoot at John's mansion on August 22nd.

I'm pretty sure they would have reunited and collaborated periodically. It seems like they were almost there.

The right answer is: a TRUE concert film, utilizing the available footage of them in concert- *Washington DC *1964 live footage including NME awards show *Shea Stadium *Budokan and Munich concerts...clean them up, use the AI magic to get clearer sound, and make a badass concert movie 😊 We have the technology...

My guess is that the project mentioned in 2022 was the Now and Then mini-documentary. I really highly doubt that Paul, Ringo, Yoko & Sean, and Olivia & Dhani would be in favor of an attempted AI video ;recreation' of a Star Club performance. Personally, I'd be very angry if that is the case. I have no problem using AI to de-mix music, whether it be from The Beatles or others, but I would 100% have a problem with something fake like a Star Club concert film, especially if it had to use AI-generated speech in between songs. On another note, an Anthology upgrade (both audio and video) would be nice; I do have the 2003 Anthology DVD box set, but I would definitely consider upgrading, at least partly depending on the price, if that was announced. Upgrading some BBC audio could be a good idea too; I also think that the remaining BBC material (Dream Baby from 1962, etc.) could/should be used as bonus tracks on a potential Star Club de-mix/remix and/or a potential expanded version of Please Please Me.

Being 68 years old, I prefer the B&W... I first saw this film on a late summer afternoon in 1964 in a local movie theater in Philadelphia. It wasn't too crowded, but there were young girls screaming whenever one of The Fabs appeared... which is most of the film. A friend who went with me kept complaining that he couldn't understand what any of The Beatles were saying because of their accents. Perhaps the only thing dated in the movie is the constant smoking; censor those scenes out and you probably have only 80% left.

The music great; honestly I thought alot of jokes were lost in their thick Liverpool accrnts.

Peter is brilliant, he should hook up magical mystery tour 👍🏻 exactly what he did with let it be, do for magical mystery tour. Or fix up their concerts maybe..or help. Anything Beatles would be awesome 👍🏻🎸

You are wrong, A 14-year-old watching this film in the present day would find the songs tedious, the acting rubbish and the general landscape of 1964 London totally alien, you have cherry-picked a couple of what you interpret as 'cool' scenes and made your mind up as a 50+ white male who is Beatle crazy, To most people, the black and white is difficult to sit through and the highlight of the helicopter at the end looks light a Heath Robinson invention! how we would have viewed a George Formby film back in the 80s

Star Club needs to be next. They rock so hard on those tapes. It's a shame they didn't record some of those songs in the studio. Imagine Beatles For Sale with those rockers instead of the covers we got. All 4 Beatles are on fire, but Ringo is nuclear. No Ringo, no Beatles.

At this point, the Holy Grail is the Star Club tapes. It shows the Beatles as they really were . A hardworking club band, playing to a drunken German crowd , and no screaming girls.

It's possible Paul didn't want him in the band because Paul was the dominant keyboard player and keyboard composer at that time. Every song that Billy played on improved the song and added another interesting layer to the sound. Also, Billy was developing into a fine songwriter himself which would have caused a problem. Every album probably would have needed to be a double album to accommodate all the great songs that would have emerged.

I don’t know why no one‘s ever done this but how about just making a DVD of the music from each of the first five albums from the early live concerts of the Beatles? No commentary or other BS - just the music while there are still a few geezers who were teens in the 1960s who care about it ? Easy money.

There was no Beatles history going back to 1956. John and Paul didn't meet until July 1957. And George didn't join until around February 1958.

1:38 Wow. That picture of Paul and George playing together! I had never seen it before. It shows how unprepared the impromptu reunion was set, as Paul seems to be playing a right handed Fender Precision bass and George was playing a left handed guitar !! 😃 Clearly some other band’s instruments.

I wonder if John and Paul were eventually intimidated as to how good of a songwriter George became.
