I recently replaced my 2015 15" MacBook Pro equipped with quad core i7 2,8-4,0GHz 16GB ram with M3 MBA 15" 16GB ram. Ran some tests and simple architectural rendering in Archicad is over 3,5 times faster. Web pages loads 2-3 times faster. Laptop is cool and lasts 4-5 times longer on battery compared to old model. I run some Windows x86 software via VMware fusion and windows 11 on ARM too so now it is perfect replacement. On old one fans could go wild even with simple tasks due to older CPU.

I'm wondering, since the real time lut feature is available on the s5ii, but not with it's integrated button. Can we essentially do the same thing on that bigger camera? As far as capabilities and the results of the images coming out? Also do you think the lumix lab app will be compatible with the s5 ii regarding luts?

Damn I want this camera bad. I'll go broke for it actually right now lol

Does it have in body focus bracketing/stacking for macro?

So their LUT feature is essentially a Conversion LUT + a Stylistic LUT in one go?! ❤️

Lacks EVF :( ..... my GX85 have... i Love GX85... Mix and compact camera and good quality image for photos and vídeos.. The S9 is incredible but lack EVF.

They could beat Fujifilm at the in camera colors grading, but then ruined the camera...no evf no mechanic.....why? The price should have been higher and have all those features....with love i would have payed 1800 for the camera...or s5xii price....So it looks Canon will learn from these mistakes from fuji, panasonic and nikon and sony and get it right

I'm a lumix fan, and also like your video quite a bit. But this is ridiculous to say this video is NOT sponsored by them! Come on! They flew you to Japan, and with all the things sorted like hotel rooms right?! And you basically had a free trip to Japan, playing with the newest camera, making a video (get views and money on CZcams). If you dare to say anything major to harm their products' sale, guess whether you would be invited next time?

Dr400 is at the base iso of the sensor , or higher, lower iso is sintetic. The same applies to video, filmmaker understand better base iso and the influence of it on the image

The fact they "botched" the lenses part is truly sad... I can't wrap my head around why they didn't just focus an making one compact prime with 2.8....

Strongly agree that the small lens is a problem considering this as a compact system. A 26mm f4 AF pancake-ish lens would be very appealing (f2.8 would be even better of course!)

Probably would go for it if it was weather sealed. I've got an S5 Mark i and a Fuji X pro 2/pancake set up. I Was "hoping" to replace the Xpro 2 to have a compact daily with my L mount EcoSystem.

I would think that a better comparison would be this camera vs. The Sony A7C2. Both full frame. Both compact.

Beautiful footage, love full frame. However, I would not buy a camera workout a viewfinder! In bright sunlight a rear screen is hard to work with.

What they are doing with the LUTs is terrific. Now Apple should do that as well (maybe in their new Final Cut camera), so you can go back and forth in one video right on the phone.

I'm torn between the fujifilm XS-20 and this one, I just want a camera to take jpgs on family trips without thinking too much about it, I'm guessing because of the full frame sensor, this camera would be better for moving subjects or night photography

Id love to see a beauty mode/ smooth skin mode in this camera since it seems to be mainly for social media and content creation

I am very curious how easy it is to use the punch in zoom for manual focus, Because like my sigma FPL I would assume that this would be great with some fast manual focus lenses. Esp the very affordable stuff coming out of china. TTArtisans 50 F2 or Pergear 35 F1.4 would probably both be great. If I worked in a camera shop I would have plenty of those on hand to demo with the camera to potential customers that have never been able to play with Bokeh before.

Apple needs a new CEO. Just combine the Macbook Pro and iPad. Mac software on iPad, and make larger sizes, like 16 inch and 18 inch. Make an iPhone with a stylus, 7 inch. Get rid of the walled garden, you are limiting your customer base, and revenue.
