Had to stop midway with an idea before I forgot it🥴. How about stitching the Trudy’s Kitchen designs separately, on their own linen, and then stitching them together in a 4 square or row? I know, not an original idea but, if it works….☺

My husband and I have similar hats for hiking…. He’s always trying to get me to wear mine around the house or neighborhood….. I just can’t 😂😂😂. My vote is Yosemite … mind blowing … but also, duh. I think the Ken Burns National Parks documentary would be great for stitching time/ inspiration for you!

I stitch Christmas and Halloween all year. I realized this year that I don’t have a single Summer piece. 😹. So I stitched Blooming Tiny Town by @heartinhand. So cute!

I try to do something about Christmas in July- if I have Christmas pattern already started- Ill work on it in July, if not- it's to start something new :) keep on stitching and making new patterns!

Thank you for the joy and laughter you share. It's the duty and responsibility for a parent to periodically embarrass their child, especially a teenager. Although NJ has no National Parks, we do have 12 National Park Sites that range from natural settings to historically related sites. However, the Appalachian Trail does come through NJ so we can claim it. July affords me the opportunity to get organized and get moving on the ornaments I make for all of the children in our family. This year it means 19 need to be done by the end of November if they will be gifted this Christmas. Please keep doing Floss Tubes together. It's wonderful to hear your laughter!

I am doing Christmas in July for the first time. I chose Retro Reindeer to start with. I like it so far which surprises me because ai generally don’t join things. I like eclectic things. You both are awesome. Thank you for all you do for us.

Sounds like a great trip!!! I got my hubby a book for Christmas that is all parks in Texas. The company has one about all the National Parks and you can put photos and add travel notes in the book. I will look it up and send you the info.

I lived in Kansas for many years. Raised my kids on a farm in Kansas. We were a 45 minute drive from Kansas City.

I do make ornaments for all my immediate family every year. I just fit them in whenenver I have a break or need to do something small.

I kitted up 20 new projects, but haven't let myself start any of them. I'm trying to finish some old WIPs first.

I heart you two. Super excited for Midsummer stitch! Loved hearing about your fabulous trip. My cousin and her now husband used to work at Capitol Reef and got married there 2 years ago. We went (all the way from NY!) and it was such an amazing experience with our kids. So wonderful to have that special time with your family.

This is my first July as a stitcher so I'm not sure if I'll do Jolly July. I have quite a few projects I'm working on and starting another seems a bit much ---- BUT ---- I also am intrigued by the idea that I could start something and have a project to display this year in December. So - who knows?

You are not too far away, (driving distance) from us! Tennessee is an awesome place to visit in the smokey mountains and a national park! Waterfalls, hiking and so much to see. Definitely a must see.

Nationals Parks worth traveling to? The red rock in Utah is amazing but there’s so much more to see if you head west again. Glacier, Olympic, Yellowstone, Sequoia…. Also skip Napa and think about visiting the Oregon coast with a wine tour in the Willamette Valley. 😊 Christmas stitching in July? I tried it once but I mostly enjoy stitching in the season. It’s sunny and 75 at the cabin in MN so I’m not thinking about snow just yet!

Jason- Bunny Battle is awesome!! Steph - stitch it! A must see NP is The Grand Canyon. Seriously. Until you see it, you just can't even understand the beauty! You hit the cream of crop in Utah though!
