Straight out from the tv

Besides Village Toys have their own version called N4SR from Convert A Bots series of toys.
Royal Condor also have Electronic Magnum version.
It was also called Spark man and other names and so on.
I looked on Ebay for a complete G1 Hound very pricey.
@sith7183 you just have to be patient.
your broke it N lol nice review
1981 toys bumblebee g1 Transformers. 1980 Optimus prime Megatron 1980 1980 sideswipe 1981 jerfire toy.
So nice to actually see this gold MP36 KO on video. Saw it while searching ShowZ but it was released long before I started collecting.
wow, this toy design is even cooler than i remembered the robot mode with all the accessories looks great (plugging the cannons onto the head is a bit odd, but ok) that blue variant is the sweetest plum, but they all look cool
The little W stamp on the front of it always reminded me of Wayland Industries...W... Aliens 😅
The only thing I couldn't grasp was his little dinky arms and his massive rifle it's still an awesome figure, and it displays very well
Love it 🤘🏻
I just bought the Legacy United Gears today. I love the fact he looks like he did in the original cartoon. I hope they do a quality CliffJumper in the future.
@mikewilson3581 I'm sure that they will make Cliffjumper in that line. In fact, the new Bumblebee looks like Cliffjumper in vehicle mode.
On the box front right behind the truck cab, can you still read the "DATA (ASSUMPTIONS)" text? Those are supposed to be the "real" robot's and truck's specifications. Could you please type those in, here?
Did these mini bots ever come packaged with the decoy figurines?
Yes, in 1985, they were released with decoys, and the rub-sign was added.
@@80sTransfromersFanThat must be where I got my Soundwave decoy. I also have a red bumblebee with rub symbol sticker. The confusing thing is that I also have two mini spies.
Where can I get an ark diorama like that? It's legit the best one I've ever seen
I purchased it from Bigbadtoystore.com years ago. 2010, I believe. It's from a 3rd party called I-gear. And it's called CCC Computer Control Center. Ebay is probably your best chance, but last time I was it the set was going for over $300. I have a detailed video review for it on my channel.
@@80sTransfromersFan that's wicked awesome I'm going to check it out hopefully they still have something going on appreciate the heads up though big time thank you
It's been five months now and we still haven't got any new Retro Transformers since Soundwave and Blaster. Do you know what's going on? Did Hasbro get tired of the Retro line? I heard rumors of us getting Optimus Prime, Ramhorn, and Bombshell, but still haven't seen any screenshots. It makes me wonder if they will be the last of the line. I thought they would do better for the 40th Anniversary.
I heard the same rumors. I believe they are scheduled for 3rd quarter/fall releases.
@@80sTransfromersFan Where did you hear that they will be released in the fall? I haven't even seen any leaks of these figures yet. I'm disappointed that they will be releasing less Retro figures on the 40th anniversary. In January I was confident that we could get Retro Astrotrain, but now I'm less confident. Do you think they could release some new Retro figures around September 17th since that's the 40th anniversary of the first G1 episode? Is Hasbro known for releasing products on anniversary dates?
Transformers (USA, 1984) 🤖🚗🗓️🇺🇲
The War for Cybertron Kingdom version is a much cleaner version and more faithful to G1 Red Alert. Very similar, but different enough to be appreciated. Side by side you will see the improvements in molded detail and paint apps. Hope all is well with you.
I'm good, thanks for asking! How are you? I have the Kingdom version also. I think it's better as well. I prefer the Deceptions in the Seige line.
@@80sTransfromersFan I’m good. Stupid hot right now. Hoping you’ll give us a review of the missing link releases. I’d love that Prime, but the price is a bit more than I’m willing to pay. My wife sometimes spoils me, tho! Wait. You did Prime! Okay. I liked the two minibots also released, but, again, crazy price point.
Got this and was so excited... wow, what a disappointment. They're trying to recreate the show's coloring, fantastic, just forgot to... have the wings in the correct position! How come no one has mentioned this? Crazy. Also, the missiles suck, and some quality of life improvements to make the massive kibble for this jet less is sorely lacking. At least it looks good in jet m..... how big is that gap? Wow. Might have to shave the pegs down? Really unsatisfied with this, unfortunately, I never had Thundercracker as a kid and was looking to gaze fondly over a cool figure. The face paint could be sharper too honestly, and the spray detail over the die cast nose beams is not great. Nice comparison to G1, thanks for that, good video!
I believe Takara's Missing Link G1 line will address all the flaws you mentioned, especially the wings being in the correct position in robot mode on the jets.
I couldn't agree more about leaving the worn and sometimes skewed original stickers on the 80's toy. I think it gives it more nostalgia that a kid 40 years ago applied those themselves. And it gives the toy that played patina.
i have a pre-rub ratchet! but the tires are cracking, the right lightbar is missing and a tred is broken, and it has chromewhear
You can bring it back to life with a cheap junker off of Ebay.
i have to admit, the american packaging is much better than og
The UNCLE deluxe set in Japan is so cool
When you said, "I laid on the floor..." looking through the catalogue, that struck just the right chord with me and EVERY kid of our 80's generation. Because, I think we ALL did that. Looking through that catalogue for hours on the floor and dreaming about owning all of them is something we can all relate to. :) Great information!!
thanks so much for doing these videos wish i had found them sooner, been doing a lot of research into vintage jp toylines the battle convoy set is so cool and a real hot item these days
in general, it's kind of embarrassing how much better the JP originals are. But at least Convoy and some others made it over without too many changes. They really butchered Soundwave and Blaster compared to JP versions.
Yes, they did.
@@80sTransfromersFan i've been researching micro man, micro change, etc. and i love the original concept of how they were 1:1 and hiding in plain sight
You are not actually supposed to turn at the middle of the torso. I went to customise a couple of my Masterverse figures, and i noticed that there are desingnated hinges inside the torso. The one going into the upper torso is the one going side to side, and the hinge going into the lower torso is the front-to-back hinge
Well damn did I get anything correct?!
@@80sTransfromersFan Hey, even I wouldn't know if I hadn't went to custom my figs!
There is a flap on the top of the box where you only have to cut one strip of tape and open it😑 And the hinge on the right hand is just tight. I have one, and the hinge was simply just a bit tight
Hey, it's Captain Boxman! I'm going to the landfill and find that box and open the box your way 😊
which model jeep is that at real ?
Trailbreaker is a Toyota Hilux 4x4.
@@80sTransfromersFan which year ?

Thanks for the sub! And I delighted that I could be of some help! I'm trying to put out my Blitzwing video, but my hours at work make it very difficult right now.
Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it. Yeah, I am looking for the perfect Aquaman. Ok, not perfect but at least good enough for my Justice League. Just an hour ago, I saw the Endless Winter Aquaman and I was torn about getting it. I want a beardless Aquaman, but I prefer the look of the orange armor as well as the gold collar, belt and trident of Endless. For the trident in particular, I feel there's a big difference. I usually prefer brighter colors but for some reason I prefer the orange on Endless, looks less plasticky. I might have jumped on the Classic Aquaman initially, but it's really the heads stopping me and making me hesitate to this day. I plain don't like them. You're so right the Endless Winter's head is better although I don't like the cross eyes. So overall I think, my perfect Aquaman would be the Endless Winter body with the Flashpoint Flash head... which was never available in Québec unfortunately. The only thing I would really miss from the classic Aquaman would be the swimming hands. Cheers!
I totally agree!
I LOVE this figure. I need to get my hands on this one day. I remember getting him as a kid. I guess it didn't survive childhood because I don't have it anymore.
G1 Soundwave is by FAR my favorite Transformer! So cool!!! SOUNDWAVE!😁😍
G1 Optimus Prime is my favorite, but Soundwave is in my top 5!
Just get a liquid chrome marker dude & restore the chrome. Easy fix.
I actually like the robot mode haha just shows the charm of the original toy line. If I had this when I was a kid I would have loved it
Shoutout to bbts! Just got mine off the pile o loot! This is amazing as a reissue and properly done! Only thing I wished was the trailer was more metallic like but overall! I love it
Over here in Germany Thundercracker and the other seeker jets were very very hard to find. In 1985 when I started playing with TF it was nearly impossible to find figures from the previous year. Never saw Megatron, Optimus, the seeker Jets or my favorite charakter Soundwave in any toy store. (But I had a Skywarp. A friend of mine brought him back from his italy trip in the holidays). Here in Germany characters like the Dinobots (excludet swoop), the deluxe Insecticons, Stunticons and Aerialbots were widespreaded. But later in 1986 TF had become more popular to the kids. In 1989, when I was already 13 years old, the Mexican IGA Transformers came to German toy stores. I didn't care that I was already 13 years old when I finally saw figures like Thundercracker, Inferno, Optimus, Ratchet, the last three of the Constructicons that I'd never managed to find, Thrust, Astrotrain, Blitzwing, and many more figures on the shelves. It had just been my birthday and I had 450 German Marks available to buy TF with and that's what I did.
Thank you for the stroll down memory lane. Mirage always looked better as an indy car vs his robot mode. It was the fact he transformed that put him and that G1 wish list in my hand to amass the collection I once had before our house foreclosed and everything had to go from a 3 1 1 rent house into storage as we moved into a 2 1 apt. Countless rains, floods additional moves to other storages, Apts and houses everything was ruined by water or being crushed and trampled on trying to salvage dad's 2000+ soggy record collections. The weight of those records collapsed my boxes underneath and that smell of wet cardboard (like the memories of my collections) will always remain in my mind as there's no way to afford replacing everything I once had. 10k now for the Flagg alone let alone the size of the house needed to be able to display such a collection. Thank you all for putting the past right in front of us that have lost what we once had. Memories fade but you and others like you that keep posting these videos allow us to remember what once was and how it used to be before having to let go for what ever reason. Cheers!!
Wow, sorry about your collection damage. I had my basement flood 7-8 years ago while I was at work. My wife and kids acted fast and were able to save 80% of my collection, but I lost things I still haven't been able to replace. I realize that toys are a link to the past, and I try to put that feeling in every video."Til all are one"
Compared to the enterprise toys from the 90s this is kinda a disappointment. The mold is really well done and it is beautiful. But the biggest gripe is the speaker for all the effects is so quiet. My collectors edition ships from the 90s playmates are loud as all get out. The stand it comes with is absolute crap but for $40 bucks it's not too bad. Paint job is kinda jank
I have no memory of ever buying Thundercracker but he's somehow there in my display cabinet. I was rearranging it recently and he just blew my mind. I mean, I must have got him off ebay at some point, but I seriously don't remember.
I've purchased transformers for a second time after seeing them for a great price, not remembering I had them in my collection already.
hound is my favorite g1 character & toy, also mirage!
Both of those are in my top ten.
I got these last year for my 16th birthday and I had no idea these were pretty rare or that Noizu and Giraffi combined. Nice to know that I have something rare now I guess 🤷♂️
My uncles got it as a kids so i got it although i lost it in a massive house fire that took the house
Sorry about your home.
