My pump was apart for a week or 2 then I ordered the correct parts. Took 3 weeks after that to get a new ceramic shaft seal, spring etc... . Thanks for showing how it all goes together. By the time the parts got here, I forgot.

A well service man told me if I use sections of schedule 80 pvc pipe to thread the ends and use stainless steel couplings. Unfortunately my 1 inch steel pipe die won't cut enough threads on the pvc pipe without cracking it so i guess I'll have to return the remaining pipe and buy poly pipe instead.

I would like to ask if you could help us because the gauge of our water pump/tank is set to turn on at 20 psi ? and to turn off at 40...but we saw it yesterday and it became 10 to turn on and then turns off when it goes up until 20...we don't know what happened why the gauge measures changed. Thank you for the help in advance...

i use a 3/4 hp jet pump, its only 2 people in the house could i down size to a 1.2 hp jet pump 100 foot deep well ??

He says: it doesn’t matter what side it goes if it is 240v. They’re both going to be black! Wrong! By code you can only wire 240v with black/red/ground combination. This is because when someone deals with it down the road immediately should know it is a 240v set up and both the red and black wires are hot. If you wire a neutral white as hot in 240v set up, at least put a red tape securely around it to comply with the code if it even helps in case someone gets hurt. I’m not an electrician but I know this as a fact. There won’t be two black wire on a 240v set up. Options are black/red/ground or black/white/ground but your white is not neutral so then you’re off

I know this is an old video but I am going to build this same stand. Is this 2" schedule 80? I am having a very difficult time finding these smaller threaded sections anywhere locally. Any ideas where I could find this? Seems like Lowes and HD are not really selling Schedule 80 anymore and they have very limited selection of threaded pipe even in Schedule 40. Thanks great video.

If you have a toilet and people are going to be doing number #2 , can you only use a sewer pump? Pumping up About 11’ from bottom of pump up to the sewer pipe

Could also be fuse in the panel that died and needs to be replaced.

I don't have a Schrader valve on my unit anywhere. It runs my sprinkler system. I have a zone that is causing short cycling and I can't find a leak. I have a few zones that work fine and a few zones that the sprinklers are intermittently popping up.

Recently had a new well pump installed. They installed a new check valve above the pump which is only about 160-170’ deep and I also had the well tank replaced. There’ is also a check valve at the tank. Whenever the pump kicks on there is horrible water hammering for the 1st second it runs. What could be the problem?

How hard would it be to increase the outlet to 2 inches? Cut and weld in a 2" flange I hope

Im having trouble understanding this theory. if the pump is already sitting in cool water 100% of the time, what is this going to do to make things "cooler" for the motor?

Maybe my pvc barb fittings weren't long enough for my 2" poly pipe, but the joint isn't strong enough and keeps coming apart on a hillside even if I crank down the hose clamps. Couldn't find the double barbed stainless steel insert at RC Worst.

I have a check velve fitted to my above ground pump.. but it still keeps losing prime.. the valve is new.. so what could be the problem ??

Hi I am trying to connect to a Franklin Electric SubDrive 75 which is a VFD for a well. Says it shouldn't be used with GFCI or externally regulated generator. How do I know if my generator is externally regulated? I have a 5000W Generac generator. Can I use an inverter generator?

If I was running a hose to fill a small pool, should I temporarily turn the low pressure cut off switch off? My shuts off after filling the pool for a little while. When I hit the start switch it rapidly gets pressure and everything is fine.

Thank you for a great video that got our water back without calling the well company. We have a well with a submersible pump and am M$ pressure switch. We just had new landscaping put in with a soaker irrigation system. the landscapers left with all the outside spigots on and shortly thereafter we had no water. I got the water going again after watching your video. The switch is installed with the lever about 4 inches from the foundation so I could not see the "run-start-off' markings. Long term, would installing a larger tank (current one is 20 gal) along with putting the soakers on timers be a good idea?
