NA Miata Interior Mods, Steering Wheel Install || PROJECT MIATA
zhlédnutí 6KPřed 6 měsíci
Short video about what some of the things I've done to the interior of this MX-5 or Miata, and a steering wheel install. Installing the steering wheel was super easy. You do end up removing the airbag and I recommend doing this if you have a racing seat and harness installed to keep you in place in case of an accident/impact.
Burble Tune || EXPLAINED
zhlédnutí 49KPřed 10 měsíci
In this video I talk about and explain how the burble or pops and bangs on deceleration happen and what causes them. Although there are all sorts of ways a car can make the popping or the burble sound happen, the most common cause is the unburnt fuel in the exhaust. I also go over the basics of burble tune and how to tune for burbles on deceleration or over-run.
Racing Seats and Harness || PROJECT MIATA
zhlédnutí 4,9KPřed 11 měsíci
In this video I install a set of racing seats and harness on the Miata. I did use a seat bracket to install the seat, this saves time and money you would need to spend to modify your car to accept the seats. The harness was attached to the original seat belt mounting points for the lap belts, seat bracket for the anti-sub belts and wrapped around the harness bar for the shoulder belts. I also g...
Drift Competitions || EXPLAINED
zhlédnutí 15KPřed rokem
In this video I go over the general rules and basics of drift competitions, how drift runs are scored and judged and how they are set up. Some of the things are going to be different from event to event, like qualifying formats and point allocations, etc. but this video should give you a good base so you can watch Formula Drift, Drift Masters, or D1 and understand what's happening.
Weight Reduction || EXPLAINED
zhlédnutí 15KPřed rokem
In this short and simple video, I explain a few things you should consider when it comes to making your car lighter. I talk about sprung vs unsprung weight, weight distribution and the importance of power to weight ratio. Horsepower makes a car fast in a straight line, but weight reduction makes a car fast everywhere.
Do I NEED a roll cage? || PROJECT MIATA
zhlédnutí 8KPřed rokem
In this video, I go over the basics of rollover protection and the difference between a roll cage and a roll bar. I then install one on the Miata to show how easy they are to install. This mod should definitely make the Miata safer and give it the much needed rigidity. Trying to make these videos as short as possible! This video is about the Toyota 2jz motor, the successor to the 1jz motor. It is one of the most reliable and overbuilt engines by a car manufacturer that has gained a lot of popularity due its robust internals and rotating assembly. But not all 2jz engines are the same! some can handle over a 1000hp and some can't even make more than 400 before blowing up. In this episode I explain what makes t...

    Bro showed 4cyk and 6cyk little sputters show some hellcat or corvette or some big block v8 pops and bangs they will rip your ears out you feel v8s in your chest not even with the pops there’s not 1 v6 I’ve been near that will rip your eardrums like the sound of a v8. If your going to make a vid make a real vid enough with these little puny engines get the real gas guzzlers that dump loads of fuel 😂 and shoot 3 foot long flames. Something about the v8s that cause the loudest explosions

    My warm up routine is start and drive immediately no idle, in my petrol/gas motor i keep it below 30% of max rpm until coolant and oil are both up to temp and in my diesel i do the same but keep rpm below 45% if max rpm until all at temp.. both my vehicles are direct injection, petrol car is 2009 mazda 3 2.0 sport on 114000miles still running tight and smooth, diesel vehicle is a 2006 vw tuareg 5.0 v10 with 125000miles and also starst runs and drives like new... i change oil every 4000/6months on the mazda and every 6000/6mobths on the diesel. I run archoil fuel system cleaner in both vehicles every 1000miles and they both return at least the mpg and performance they did when new. I think the most important thing is keeping everything gentle until operating temperature and high frequency oil changes with high quality oil and high quality fuel or regular fuel system treatments
