I have 3 things to say, they are a tip, reminder, and a hint. I won't go into too much detail so it should be helpful, but not oversharing. Tip: you can place plugs and sockets on the ceiling. Reminder: Don't forget to check the area behind the cafeteria where the vent fan is while its dark. Hint: there is a portal VERY near your base that you haven't been to yet, and you will need a energy brick to get to it. If you want a further tip on where to start your search, just remember "Life at G.A.T.E. can be demanding, so it's important to remember that resting is key to staying in good health."

They really made creating fresh water unnecessarily tedious (at this level - I found later there are ways that will make it easier)

Raytracing has been one of the primary forms of AI detection models for a long time now. It's one of the few places it's been useful on hardware up to this point and one of the many reasons some games suffer massively from large numbers of AI entities. Unless you have a hivemind style AI manager that makes decisions on who gets to make assessments and take actions and when they can do them. This also comes with it's own challenges like for example in the Cryengine2 AI would go "braindead" if there was too many AI trying to do too much and they'd end up low in the action queue waiting for a turn to do something. But seeing it used for sound design is genuinely inspiring and solves an issue I've been contemplating for some time. Sound wave based spacial sound design is a real challenge and using rays to calculate material modifiers and dampening around shapes and corners would be very powerful in having dynamic sound generation such as echoey caves that change based on how far you are from the source, whether you're down a passage, in an open cavern, even obscure the direction of a sound with ambient sound waves bouncing off walls close to you etc.

For those people just watching it now and wanting to play themselves: if you hold CTRL and click on an item to move it into a storage you'll move _all_ of that item into storage. If you are crafting stuff and you hold CTRL while doing that you'll stay in the crafting screen so you can do several. If you are constructing stuff (like windmills) you can hold CTRL and place down several in a row without having to re-select them. Also if you are constructing stuff and hold CTRL while rotating it goes to the 90 degree defaults instead of smaller increments. EDIT: also; the meteors deliver resources to the planet. So you can get different ores from the different meteors.

If i had to live in a game it would be "eve online" because then id finally have enough time to put towards it Everyone stay far from that game unless you have 10 or more hour to put into it every day

Oddly enough, my specific childhood taught me that anyone could be dangerous and thankfully nothing became of that. I separately learned that im not invincible by breaking my arm 3 summers in a row. Splitsie, I missed seeing W4sted in your VODs. You two interact in a way like none other, and it's always so interesting to see your minds interact and feed off of each other's ideas. I'm sure y'all do some things on stream together, but I can never seem to catch you on stream. I would watch the hell out of it if you had more content with him put to VOD (if you wanted to).

just a hint but some soups only require one or two ingredients, you don't need 3 items in all of them.

Looking back, it is interesting to me that you are basically about to catch up to where I am on my longest game with a trade focus on Europa. For these longer playthroughs it is interesting to me all the struggles it took to get to the point you get and look back at what you would do different. So far I'm glad to see how it has gone from basically nearly 0 trader focus and the struggle you had to get your first set of seeds to essentially now a furnace room for processing your ores and ingots. What's something you would try to do on your next playthrough? Like would you actually attempt to do something like make sure your hygiene never hits red throughout the whole playthrough, as minor as it is, just to see if it would push you to make a habitable, stable space + shower earlier? You know those kind of things.

@splitsie Assuming you haven't found how to capture the wil-o-wisps, there is a small container you likely have to capture them. Had to google it myself. Also, the hacking tool is equipable in a slot, accidently shift-clicked once, that's how I found out. it'll trigger whenever you hit E on panels.

From my experience in Venus play, battery kit aren't priority as long as you have atleast 4 small wind turbine, up to 6 (more than that will burn your cable during storm) For mars though, yeah you need to rush because solar is the main power.

Just a thought why not put a propeller in the water at the rear of the plane to get it up to speed in the water that the wings catch the air and pull itself out of the water so the plane main propellers can keep it out of the water?
