Thank you Dan for this video! Super helpful. What if you were a newer software company and you don’t have case studies just yet? How would you combat the emails where we are inserting question case studies or awards?
Dan here - good question! Here's what I'd do: If you don't have case studies yet, use the next best proof that you have. One liners, data, etc. If you don't have any proof at all, you can use 3rd party cases studies and industry research - just make it clear that this isn't your work. Hopefully you get past this stage ASAP. You *need* social proof!

Not sure about your market (we're mostly focused on the North America market). You're likely to find an outsourced team in SA or overseas (SE Asia, Latin America, etc). Good luck!
Most comp plans are a joke and paying anyone $48,000 year in the bay area is an insult. How do people eat? Comp plans dont factor in the time it takes to do various tasks so asking someone to do 500 demo’s a year isnt realistic. Companies don’t let sales people sell anymore. Sales people are data entry people. Companies don’t get what really sells a deal. Most investors havent sold a thing in their lives and they shouldn’t be setting metrics. You will raise your close ratio is you let sales people sell properly.

Nice playbook with some good background sales info. The goal of a sales playbook is to improve sales execution - I'd say this is a gap in content here. What you need is deal navigation and sales conversation guides at the point of need.

Series” - I promise these will help so many like me and it will make your channel get incredible amounts of viewership!!! AMAZING!!!

Ask for the name on the first call. If you cant get through, you will have the name for the next call.

I'll do another post on intros. Tone is probably the most important. The next is being able to overcome brushoffs like "not interested."
