I still have the feeling someone in the police dept might have a comnection to all of this. Someone who never followed through with Tim's phone analysis, & tox report, & wanted the case closed. When Mabel released her podcast last season, the cop on the phone wasnt happy about it. Someone in the force could have acess to that type of gun, & how to shoot it? I found it odd if Detective Williams wouldnt delve deeper into who might be surpressing Tim's evidence. Of course, the writers may have been done with going into any of that as they do not always continue with previous storylines. Sorry for my long post, Dallas. So looking forwards to your videos this season.

I have no guess on who it is yet, or if they meant to kill Sazz or Charles, but I'm gonna find a way to connect it to Howard because whenever they have their final season I'm so certain he's gonna be connected to all of them and all the unanswered things (like who wrote the note to Jan, how did Becky find out about the passageways) will all be from Howard.

Charles told Joy that they'd have more time together since Brazzos was shut down due to an investigation into some sort of sexual harrasment/abuse. Wow! You throw out a lot of different theories. The one that I like the most is that Rufus WILL die (probably in the next episode), and the remainder of the episodes will be Imogene finding Rufus' killer or killers. It's kinda like the movie "Sunset Boulevard" with the voice-over/narrator being a dead person. As to "why" Rufus will be murdered, there are a couple of possibilities. The most obvious is because he's getting close to finding Viktor Sams. The second possibility is because, as you say, Rufus was lured onto the ship by all or most of the passengers to be murdered for past deeds. Possibly the other passengers have been blackmailed for years, and have, rightly or wrongly, decided that Rufus is Viktor Sams--and killing him is their way out. I also buy into the theory that Imogene's mother is the woman known as "Agent Eriksen." She may or may not be a real Interpol Agent. Why she's there, I don't know. Is she part of the plot to kill Rufus?

I wrote down all the scrambled and unscrambled letters of the chapter titles o=R, t=a, etc. I was hoping to see if Viktor Sams translated to a name we've seen, but there are too many unknown letters still. The closest name that fits, if unscrambled, could be Rufus, but the rest don't match his last name... unless he's doing something like Tom Marvolo Riddle =I Am Lord Voldemort. I thought I had the rest of the unknown letters cracked, but the n threw me off. I'm also thrown by his opening narration when he says to pay attention to details because he already told us. I can't find any clues in what he said to find an answer. It's driving me crazy lol

Just finished binging the 1st 4 episodes, so now I'm back to watch your theories! I'm glad you're reviewing these because otherwise I never would have known about this show, and It's such a good show. Hulu didn't seem to advertise this, and even when I searched, I had to scroll way down to find it.

Such good thoughts! I also believe it was mentioned that Imogene's mom was only 28 or so when she "died." I remember looking at that woman and saying, no shade intended, that there is no way that actress is only 28.

Good catch-up vid, Dallas. Lots of people on various sites are committed to the Interpol Agent Hilde being Imogene's mother theory. There are mixed theories on Why and What it means. Your theory of everyone on the ship working together to manipulate Rufus, is something I hadn't heard before. It's like Agatha Christie's "Murder on the Orient Express" and could make sense. More so if it's only one "team" behind everything--like the Chun family. Though I'm not sure if a tv series is willing to make a Chinese family the villain; that would feed into ethnic bias. A better question may be: how many people on the ship are working for Victor Sams?

The whole thing is a Matrix/VR/simulation/truman show situation. The sky doesn’t move. Leila’s obsession with spy electronics. The repeated refrain of “what’s going on here is much bigger than you can imagine”. All the weird glitches in details. The opening scene of the series,,,the real house that becomes a dollhouse while Coatsworth implores the viewer to pay attention to the details. The constant medicated/drunk state of all the main players. The weird VR commercial. It’s all wrong.

Has anyone else notices Keith/Danny's point of impact changes locations? When we are shown his body for the first time after the attack, it seems as if he was wounded almost in the lower center of his torso. However, in episode 3 when Hilda moves the zipper of the body bag down, the wound is way over to the left? Wondering if that's anything of note, or maybe I'm just being silly.

Yes! Also, the notes he takes at the last board meeting look similar to those notes in season 1. I think he listened in on the shrinks sessions on the other side of the passage ways, which is the noise he complains to Bunny about... which that could be why he talks to Poppy and puts the idea of murdering her in her head, and why he reveals the secret passageways to her, and he might even have been the one to know about the paintings to get Poppy interested to begin with. In season 3 he could have easily planted the ideas with the cookie poisoning for Donna, maybe the door wasn't even really locked (or he was inside with her while it was locked). There's so much to hypothesis about, you could do an hour long extreme detailed one about why and how he's connected to everything. I've been saying it for a while now that he's up to no good. But i thought it may have been unintentional through his gossip, but with that reddit comment you showed us, I'm convinced it's deliberate. And I wouldn't put it passed him to be the 6th ave slasher

Another excellent video from you! Howard is into everyone's business, & seems to learn a lot from snooping into apartments while in the tunnels. Teddy is on my watch as a Moriarty type character, as is Cinda. One person who we haven't learned about, yet, is who in the police dept. kept Tim's tox screen, & phone analysis from being carried out, & if anyone on the outside was behind that policeman's actions(I'd think Teddy more than Howard could do that). I find it hard to beleive that D. Williams just let that slide, & hasnt been looking into it, behind the scenes.
