  • Hey Arconiacs, here is a theory video about the character of Howard Morris being the series villain. The foretold Moriarty of Only Murders In The Building.
Do you think its Howard or someone else?
Next week I will go over some other possible people we have met that I think may be the series villain.

I’m so late watching this video from you- they already started shooting the next season!
I have wondered about Howard since he always seems to be in the middle of everything, like you said.
I’m looking forward to catching you on the rooftop when the next season starts!

as a librarian, i appreciate your emphasis on Howard's skills on the job. all true! and librarians are deeply passive aggressive, imo. he definitely has something up his cardigan sleeve.

@@USFmoliver3 I have friends who currently or used to work in the library system. You all don’t get the love you deserve. Librarians have always been the most helpful, open minded and just interesting people to be around because some can be a little wild. It takes work and dedication to do what you do against a system that thinks of you less and less. Thank you for what you do and please don’t kill me because I don’t like ur cat.

Another excellent video from you! Howard is into everyone's business, & seems to learn a lot from snooping into apartments while in the tunnels. Teddy is on my watch as a Moriarty type character, as is Cinda. One person who we haven't learned about, yet, is who in the police dept. kept Tim's tox screen, & phone analysis from being carried out, & if anyone on the outside was behind that policeman's actions(I'd think Teddy more than Howard could do that). I find it hard to beleive that D. Williams just let that slide, & hasnt been looking into it, behind the scenes.

Teddy is 100% on my list and definitely has some pull but seems not big enough to do everything, idk yet! im sure there is a twist we wont see coming.

    Yes!
Also, the notes he takes at the last board meeting look similar to those notes in season 1.
I think he listened in on the shrinks sessions on the other side of the passage ways, which is the noise he complains to Bunny about... which that could be why he talks to Poppy and puts the idea of murdering her in her head, and why he reveals the secret passageways to her, and he might even have been the one to know about the paintings to get Poppy interested to begin with. In season 3 he could have easily planted the ideas with the cookie poisoning for Donna, maybe the door wasn't even really locked (or he was inside with her while it was locked).
There's so much to hypothesis about, you could do an hour long extreme detailed one about why and how he's connected to everything.
I've been saying it for a while now that he's up to no good. But i thought it may have been unintentional through his gossip, but with that reddit comment you showed us, I'm convinced it's deliberate. And I wouldn't put it passed him to be the 6th ave slasher

I totally forgot about Dr. Stanley hearing someone in the wall! I want more interviews with people who work on the show to give us more clues lol.
There is so much to think about with Howard. I literally cut out two pages because I thought it might be too farfetched and I knew the video was getting long already.
Howard is shady and hides it in being a seemingly adorable man who couldn't harm a fly. I don't trust him.

funny you talked about Howard being close to the trio ...but you didnt mention that Jan told in Season 2 that the killer allways trys being close to them...(and this did not apply to the killers of season 2 and 3 if you ask me ) again im not thinking he is the moriarty but its a fact that Jan said that

@@felixleidig8307 I wouldn’t take what Jan said as gold personally that’s why I didn’t mention it. A season villain and series villain are different and would have different proximity to the trio. Close is subjective, I agree that at the very least season 3 killer was not close to the trio at all. But season 2 became close to Mabel that’s how she slipped up. Overall she was still not close to them imo. I think the series villain must be close/ very aware of the trios actions. From what we see, Howard has the most probability. It’s likely not him though.
