I understood this to be the case in the context of video essays, however I've been struggling to find information on what would be considered commentary in reference to something like a game mod. What I mean is, would someone basing their mod off of copyrighted material be considered a commentary on the material itself in that it's their interpretation of and expression of said material showing appreciation? If so, what would be the limitations and exemptions in this regard? Over 20 years ago I licensed 14 songs of mine to a label in Israel non-exclusive. They use InGrooves/Virgin Music Group as their distributor and when I recently started my own channel I wanted to upload these songs. I was met with a content ID claim for all 14 songs (even though some of these songs has been taken down on my request prior to these claims which makes no sense to me). I instantly disputed all 14 claims but today I got a notice that they will not remove the content ID claims so I now appealed it and is now waiting to see what happens next. I am not going to back down. I own the copyright for my music 100%.

I'm using royalty free music from Motion Array and have a license, yet CZcams has substantiated the copyright claim. I've appealed and I'm in the 7 day period awaiting response. What other resource do I have? It seems pointless to pay fees for Royalty Free music license and then be hit with copyright claims.

It is not a 99% change channels are terminated for a good reason. I never posted anything which remotely would be considered spams, scams or deceptive content and my old channel was terminated for this reason without warning or strikes. To terminate channels over someone reporting another poster or channel is rather silly. It sends the message that we should just let someone bully or threaten us because if we report them, our account may be terminated. The fact remains that CZcams is very inconsistent and finicky when it comes to deleting videos and terminating channels. You can do everything within the guidelines to a tee and still get videos taken down and channels terminated. Wrongful channel terminations are quite common actually. I used to be a trusted flagger and many who used the "trusted flagger tools" admitted quite often that they accidentally terminate channels and when that happens, there is no way to recover the channel. They simply chick boxes next to videos on channels without watching the videos and delete channels with a click. Human beings are not infallible. CZcams is run by humans so the system is always going to be inherently flawed.
