STARTING A FIRE WITH A KNIFE- the Outpost - Free Hill Blades
This is the new Outdoorsman knife design! I wanted to show its capabilities and speak a little to how it is made. This is a huge new direction for Free Hill Blades and I can't wait to see where it goes. Unfortunately we sold out of the first batch of these Outposts but I will have more before too long. Thanks for watching!

Forging a Damascus Short Sword - Burt Foster Collab Part 2
zhlédnutí 2,9KPřed 11 měsíci
This is part 2 of the collaboration that I am doing with Burt Foster. Burt is the Master Smith that has had the largest influence in my current style and growth as a knife maker. Both in craft and friendship he has been extremely generous to me. This video shows the process of me forging my piece of Damascus that we forged in part 1 into a very large knife (or short sword. I reveal the Damascus...
Making Mosaic Damascus with Burt Foster- FOSTER x HAALAND collab Part 1
zhlédnutí 4,3KPřed rokem
Hey all! I had the AWESOME opportunity to start a collaborative project with Burt Foster (the maestersmith who I learned knife making from). This video follows the fun few days of trying to create two distinct billets of Damascus and try mixing them together to create a collaborative pattern. The overall goal is to make two blades in our two different styles from the same materials and create a...

Sheath Making Process -Seven EDC Pocket Sheaths-

This video outlines my sheath making process when I am doing a batch of sheaths like these little pocket sheaths in this video. I made a video a while back about sheath making that performed rather well but unfortunately was not the best video work as it was early on in my video making experience, so I hope this video redeems it a bit. It also gives you a glimpse into the life of a knife maker ...

Все понравилось, но проушина узкая надо было расширить, ручку лучше как на томагавке без клина, и термообработка, закалить надо было только лезвие, а так форма красивая респект 👍

Absolutely no way this is authentic, true, real Damascus. It's forge welded. I'm surprised that this guy a master smith doesn't even know the difference.

TAKE A PIECE OF WOOD 1X1X1 or something like that cut a deep kerf in it and put it over the blade on the front guide the movement will hold the piece on and it will wick off enough coolant to keep it from running down the front of the saw im thinking u could clamp it and squeeze tighter when worn....or u can buy the red wheeled cart cut the ton shelf off set the saw on 4x4's and have the whole thing in a tub
