- This video outlines my sheath making process when I am doing a batch of sheaths like these little pocket sheaths in this video. I made a video a while back about sheath making that performed rather well but unfortunately was not the best video work as it was early on in my video making experience, so I hope this video redeems it a bit. It also gives you a glimpse into the life of a knife maker and the details that I tend to obsess over. I love every little bit of the process and I love getting to show you all that too!

Good morning, what a good video, could you tell me the characteristics of the sewing machine? I want to buy one and I don't know which one will work.
Yes it’s actually a cowboy cb3200 and it can sew up to I think 3/4” leather. Something like that. Great machine. You can buy one from brodbeck ironworks.
Do you use a lighter weight of leather for the piece that covers the clip
