I'm kind of late and don't know how I haven't found this before but buddyfight is my literal favorite thing to yap about so I will. In regards to gaos win rate, I did the math once: Gao's base win rate is about 83.3%, just consisting of his confirmed on screen wins (not undetermined or draws) Adding the 999 wins in a row from bf100 ep12 we get a rate of 98.2% Taking that out and adding the 98 wins/99 loss or undetermined against Bolt we have a 90.6% win rate With 999 wins and 98 wins/98 losses= 90.9% Taking our original win rate and adding 90 to it because I don't remember how many people Gao had to fight off screen for that one tournament in DDD we go back to 90.6% And factoring in all of that we get a 98.4% win rate Now I used Wikipedia for this and did it at like midnight so my math could be wrong and feel free to correct me if it is. The moral of this if, you've read it all is that Gao's pretty goated.

This is a great game, but if there's anything that yugioh, pokemon, and the previous BS release taught us is that IP matters. Yugioh succeeded with the anime. Pokemon had the games and show. No one in the US is familiar with any of the spirits or archetypes. Players don't feel the sense of awe playing Siegwurm like they would playing a Blue Eyes. Bandai needs to make the players feel involved in the world/lore

According to the anime, the game just like shows it visually without having a physical impact on the environment. It's only when u use disaster force or future force when your cards become "real" and then affect the environment so its basically just a jumpscare for the criminal

this is a symptom of a game that was dying. the game was never meant to be cheap and the other reason it was cheap is cause it was failing. the game has started to move in healthy direction and because of that the prices are finally going back to normal. the prices are higher this set because set 4 was under printed cause stores were allowed to cancel there orders when they delayed set 4 release date. sadly a lot of people started playing the game cause it was cheap, the game will not be cheap forever or it will be canceled like in the past. BSS is a great game and has good mechanics, but till we get the local stores to start picking up the sets again we are going to have pricing issues. the full collab eva set drops in June and will most likely have these pricing problems, even more so if the set is good and the fan base for eva join the game. set 5 drops in august and we might start seeing supply pick back up cause the order window for stores was still open when set 4 dropped i believe. proxies are fine for people to be able to play and test decks out before they spend money on a deck they may not like, though the game needs to be profitable and the cards need to have secondary market value or the game will die.

I did not hear anything about this happening on cardmarket here in europe. Fully agree on proxy for fun, or even testing before starting buying if you are new to the game and you just want 1 or 2 decks. Set 3 prices went a bit down but stayed at a decent spot. A set shouldnt become dirt cheap after the next one comes, imho. Nice informative video ;3 P.s. Tricera is not a 3$ card come one. Ok it is bad for someone trying to inflate the prices but 3 dollars is really too cheap for an X rare just came out and with at the very lrast a decent effect like that

In Thailand we actually have a full reboot of buddyfight, we have a reprint of the old card set but with some different effects, and we call it newdrive format like in vanguard did back v format (so sorry if my English is bad. Im a mainly thai speaker)
