I play official plant tokens for my Lianorn deck and official dragontree tokens for my Almajestar deck but this time I might have to resort to proxies this time. I have 9 fully-built standard decks and every deck will benefit from an extra draw every game (the current meta is too fast to draw twice for pre-DZ decks), but I don't think I can afford buying one for each one of them in the ride deck. This quick start deck products feature official effectless proxies anyways (where real effect ones come out in DBZ booster), and consider I play local exclusively and never plan to attend official BCS/regionals, maybe proxies for energy crest AND energy counter (both cards are separate BTW) don't feel too guilty anyway.
So question, if the only way to get the Energy counters cards is buy the start decks, and tourneys won't let you use any other method to count energy? What if you printed out the crest and marker? Would those count?
It’s really terrible how Bushiroad chooses to handle game. They made Dear Days $70. Which is bad enough as it is. But they also put a price tag on most of their DLC and all that adds up to be more than $120. Then they lock the energy crests behind these terrible trial decks and expects us to pay $20. The company won’t even include those in their booster sets and its stupid because they want everyone to use this new mechanic. On top of all that Bushiroad doesn’t care about their western audience and doesn’t bother to distribute Vanguard to more stores in the west or grow the communities there. It’s so bad in my area that there’s only one card shop that sells Vanguard and they don’t even do tournaments anymore. It’s pretty pathetic and depressing. In the anime, Vanguard is played everywhere all over the world. It should be that way in real life. But it isn’t and it’s because Bushiroad doesn’t care. Bushiroad needs to understand that this isn’t how you bring new players into the game. It just pisses them off. If Bushiroad doesn’t change and decide to grow the communities, this game will die off in a few years just like Buddyfight.
@@dreameater4real to let you in the know, basically harmonic overnight becomes a 60-100$ card and it's a must for all premium players. Basically just like our crest here. Tbf harmonic is a lot worse with a case might yield only 1-2 harmonic Messiah.

Depends on how cool your LGS is. Unfortunately I don’t know since none of my LGS’s will sell vanguard let alone host tournaments for it.
I have to agree with the lie guy. Boycott is a need. And i think the big ones are indeed avoiding talking about this product because of hate.

The scary part? Remember harmonic messiah problem from history collection? This crest problem will be worse
To be fair no. I basically only know what’s going in standard and even then I’m still terrible with keeping up with it.
Premium price already high + messiah is a must in there

Absolutely broken. Well, proxies here we come!
Told ya
This is a sht soft reboot
BT1 only include energy token
You still need those crest
I still wouldn’t call it a reboot, unless we consider the G era a reboot.

Good point good point.
