Should Bushiroad change? | cardfight Vanguard Discussion.

- Cardfight Vanguard is one of my favorite card games. However, Bushiroad has not been the best when it comes to western audiences. 3 months behind Japanese sets, limited access to Bushiroad products, and overall neglect on making ads. What should they do?
It really sucks when you love a TCG and there's no one around interested in playing the game...
Say, is it possible to fight specific players in Dear Days? Wanna have a match one of these days? :)
I think I got an ad for Vanguard once back in 2018 (so basically the V series)
I got a Buddyfight ad once (I don't remember, but it was probably in 2015?)
So yeah. Vanguard could use more YT advertising. I say start with anime-centered content
Also, they could sponsor some CZcamss (that focus on TCGs more so since they probably would be more familiar with it then just normal anime folks)
I remember seeing a Buddyfight ad once, only once and that was it.
@dreameater4real it was crazy. I remember being shoved an entire episode and I was vaguely intrigued. I didn't know it at the time, but apparently Buddyfight, and specifically Drum, gave me an awakening

I share your frustration. There’s only one store in my area that sells Vanguard and they don’t even do tournaments. I only have Dear Days to play. So I’m also alone. It’s quite pathetic that Bushiroad doesn’t care about the west. It’s sad that we hadn’t had a real good Vanguard Simulator in English until a year ago. It’s even more sad that it’s been over 10 years and not that many people from around the world know how to play Vanguard. The only way some people learned is from CZcams. Not TV. I do agree with you about Bushiroad dropping English because there’s no point in printing the cards in English if they’re not going to take the West seriously. It’s pretty embarrassing that this game got rebooted twice and is still having a lot of problems. They need to learn from Pokemon and Yugioh. I really hope the President of Bushiroad sees this video because this cannot stand. Pardon the Vanguard joke.
I mean the fact it took them literally 10 years to get us a simulator alone speaks volumes but I digress.
If they stopped rereleasing the entire game every 4 years I'd keep playing. But it feels bad when you invest in something and consistently get told what you purchased is now obsolete. They truly didnt know where to take the game and cant circumvent that well enough to produce something worthwhile and meaningful which is sad because the mecahnics of cardfight have and always will be my favorite of any tcg. I just wish they'd stop beating the horse and focus on the hentai ccgs they've been obsessed with lately.
Well... if the game was actually affordable I'd be able to stay in the game. Advertising isn't a issue as I've seen plenty a few times from time to time, but just needs more people to experience the game, but it comes back to the same issue I'm experiencing. It's way too friggin expensive. And meta decks are way too cookie cutter just practically being the same. Also yeah I agree 3 month delay straight up sucks. Pokemon finally fixed their situation with the gap
the problem isnt advertisment IMO. there isnt much product to go around and pretty expensive too. also they really need a free to play online SIM or put Dear Days on sale. I mean real sale, not -10%
Exactly
Looking at what I can gather as a Digimon Player from the top of your ratios list, you seem to be playing alot of low ends, which is fine if you don't have much options or tamers you wanna play. I'd go with LV3 - 12 LV4 - 10 LV5 - 8 LV6 - 6, as the standard ratios.
I play both Vanguard and Digimon, alot of the same skills translate over between the two card games, and both are my two favorite card ganes currently. Digimon has alot more product out on the market making most cards easier to access and cheaper when compared to Vanguard alas, which is a shame. I'd love to build and buy more Vanguard decks, but, it costs alot more to build a deck there. :/
Thanks for the ratio! Yeah the build I was going for was just a basic Skeleton structure, or a guide of what I should be aiming for. It’s not meant to be followed to the letter, just an idea of how the decks should be built.
