I did not hear anything about this happening on cardmarket here in europe. Fully agree on proxy for fun, or even testing before starting buying if you are new to the game and you just want 1 or 2 decks. Set 3 prices went a bit down but stayed at a decent spot. Ok it is bad for someone trying to inflate the prices but 3 dollars is really too cheap for an X rare just came out and with at the very lrast a decent effect like that
this is a symptom of a game that was dying. the game was never meant to be cheap and the other reason it was cheap is cause it was failing. the game has started to move in healthy direction and because of that the prices are finally going back to normal. the prices are higher this set because set 4 was under printed cause stores were allowed to cancel there orders when they delayed set 4 release date. sadly a lot of people started playing the game cause it was cheap, the game will not be cheap forever or it will be canceled like in the past. BSS is a great game and has good mechanics, but till we get the local stores to start picking up the sets again we are going to have pricing issues. the full collab eva set drops in June and will most likely have these pricing problems, even more so if the set is good and the fan base for eva join the game. set 5 drops in august and we might start seeing supply pick back up cause the order window for stores was still open when set 4 dropped i believe. proxies are fine for people to be able to play and test decks out before they spend money on a deck they may not like, though the game needs to be profitable and the cards need to have secondary market value or the game will die.
I agree 100%. The question is, how do we get LGS to take a chance on BSS? Right now, not too many shops are selling it, which in turn makes other stores not want to sell them. I noticed a lot of traction during the release event, but not so much after. We need BSS to be set apart from the other games… ideas?
@@dreameater4real I think the Eva collab helped a lot and the next set will help more but I think a bss exclusive collab would help a lot too. Naruto might be the best choice for that but if we can us an ip from Bandai Namco then dark souls would blow this game up.
