    Great tips, but wouldn't the person assume you are being hostile, even if your mindset is really being grateful? I mean, if I ask, ¨tell me more¨, or ¨give me some specs¨, they may assume I'm challenging them, and I may even make obvious some errors in their feedback lol, idk just a thought

    I feel like this is missing the key parts. Feedback goes in to a few categories, let's say good, I can work on this, simply untrue and then a perception. Surely perceptions, if they are wrong, need addressing. Clear inaccuracies need correcting. I think this is where we need advice. On a cohort of 15 I came top 3 in my first 3 exams. I got feedback from the course lead to say I was struggling academically. I did the, tell me more... But surely the meaningful part was where I pointed out I came top 3 in the last 3 exams and the course lead backtracked. I don't know where he got that point of view from but it was simply wrong. If I left him with that point of view that could be spread, Muz is a guy who struggles academically and in a work environment perception is at times more important than reality. I think I'd like some advice on how we, as a team (feedback receiver and giver) work together to seperate fact from fiction and rectify both with information and action.
