Guest speaker Winston Liu is a computer-control engineer working for a company in North Carolina.
Mr. Liu was born in China. Since 1998, he has been practicing Falun Gong, a spiritual self-cultivation discipline rooted in ancient Buddhist and Taoist philosophies. Because he refused to renounce his faith, the Chinese communist regime put him in detention and prison four times between 1999 and 2003. As a prisoner of conscience, he endured mental and physical torture.
He fled to Canada in 2005 and obtained refugee status as a Falun Gong practitioner protected by the Canadian government. He moved to the United States in 2012 and has lived here ever since.
Mr. Liu received master’s degrees in engineering from Tsinghua University, a premier university in China, and from the University of Calgary, in Canada.
As a public speaker, Mr. Liu tells audiences his personal story of being persecuted in China. He explains why the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has targeted Falun Gong, and what implications this persecution has for the West.
He describes how Falun Gong practitioners launched the largest freedom-information campaign in modern Chinese history in response to the persecution. His insights about the CCP can help audiences understand what is unfolding in the United States today.
The Chinese authorities initially celebrated Falun Gong for its health benefits and moral teachings. In the 1990s, the practice grew to attract more than 70 million people, outnumbering the Communist Party membership at the time. Fearing that Falun Gong’s popularity and independence would win the hearts and minds of the people, the CCP launched a nationwide campaign to eradicate Falun Gong in July 1999. The CCP continues to repress and abuse this community to this day.

Hi Tiny Revolution, I've followed your build from years ago! A quick question: did you consider building a floor truss for your subfloor? If not, any comment? In principal it seems like Tiny House subfloors have an awful lot of extra weight, especially when you consider many Tiny Houses have the subfloor bolted to the metal siderails of the trailer metal.

Interesting features, you use the kitchen sink for the bath, that's a good touch, most people build a separate sink. The lighting was great, the dining should have a little booth, instead of the bench, but one side with a folding table. You didn't explain heat, the loft and side bed we're the best features and it's extremely long but wide enough. Excellent use of those round windows.

climate right support is terrible. I've been trying for months to get a refund on a unit that was still under warranty. customer support is one person and they keep saying that their accounting department hasn't processed the information that I provided. Never again

Thank you. I do have a question. If my oven is running and the tank changes over, won’t the flame go out? If so, gas will e pouring into oven that is not lit, thus creating a dangerous situation. How does that work?
It will not. You are safe, if that was happening, these wouldn't be sold now would they?
@@zigarten thanks. All installed a couple of months ago and working well. Not anticipating the tank going empty for some time, as it’s only powering a stove.
INADEQUATE No instructions on when to remove the empty tank. Before switching the lever over, or after switching the lever over.
The lever does make you aware of which tank is empty. If you swing the lever to the right, and a red flag pops up, it's empty. Pull it and go get it filled.
