Rice with lima beans or broad bans and lamb is one of the most popular and delicious Iranian dishes known as a luxury dish. This tasty food is usually used for important gatherings and parties. To prepare this dish, you can utilize any meat you like, but the most suitable meat for this dish is lamb’s neck or lamb shank.
Of course, it is not necessary to use a lot of meat; we can easily use pieces of stewed lamb to cook this delicious dish. The amount of meat in rice with lima beans and lamb is essential, but if we use good seasonings and flavorings, we can make this dish with less meat. باقالی پلو و گوشت بره یکی از محبوب ترین و خوشمزه ترین غذاهای ایرانی است که به عنوان یک غذای لوکس شناخته می شود. این غذای خوش طعم معمولا برای مجالس و مهمانی های مهم استفاده می شود. برای تهیه این غذا می توانید از هر گوشتی که دوست دارید استفاده کنید اما مناسب ترین گوشت برای این غذا گردن بره یا ساق بره است.

2 large onions
4 garlic cloves
2 oz butter, or ghee
Five cloves of garlic
1 tsp turmeric
½ tsp allspice
½ tsp paprika
1 tsp black pepper
2 lb lima beans
2 lb lamb’s neck
4 cinnamon sticks
1 pinch of chili flakes
5 bay leaves
6 cardamom
2 oz tomato sauce
16 oz water, or as needed
1 tbsp salt
3 dried limes
3 oz saffron
2 lbs. dill weed
2 lbs. lima beans
20 oz uncooked Rice

If you want me to changed it then you need to explain why on one recipe you said no oil but here you added oil !!! Sorry

      Thank you very much for your support and kind comment. These are two different recipes. And this is why I add oil to one, not the other. Take a closer look at the color of the marinaded meat. You'll see that the one without oil has a deep, rich hue, indicating that the marinade has penetrated perfectly. The other, with oil, may not show the same intensity of color, but it's equally delicious. Oil will prevent the penetration. I did the second video based on a few requests.

There are many different cuts, but I like to use NY Steak because it is much more affordable, there is less waste, and I can ground the fat and mix it with my koobideh. At the same time, the taste of NY Steak is more likable than that of other cuts. You can also use Rib-Eye Steak, but it is much pricier and does not yield as many barg.
