Congratulations! We used a similar baby backpack carrier and loved it. We even used it trotting around NY City - not just hiking. Our kids liked being up and seeing around much better than being down in the stroller. And my husband had great reflexes getting it off quickly when our daughter got sick!

Congratulations! As someone else noted, enjoy sharing the outdoors with your little one and just remember to be flexible. My kiddos are 18 & 20 now and I'm seeing the payoff for all the work that went into our family hiking, backpacking, and remote canoe camping trips. My daughter is almost done with the NH 4ks and is planning to do the VT Long Trail late summer this year. We live near the Lakes Region and actually hope to swing into your shop at some point for some goodies and hopefully run into you for a thru hiking pep talk. :) Enjoy all the baby snuggles, she's adorable!

This is the content I need, our girl is just over a week old now. We're planning to use our Solly Baby Wrap to carry her in the short term. What are you using or planning to use for the following?: - Sun protection, I keep looking at hats and glasses but not sure what's going to fit - Bug protection as well - Will be curious what you end up doing for in a tent, our Remi play yard would work well if we brought a huge tent.

Zirk 40 is a great pack and it holds a bit of extra weight very comfortably. Highly recommend. Another option is nashville packs cutaway if you want a cottage option.

Can I ask when your start date was for the AT? I have not had the opportunity yet, but hope to start a trek around Feb. 1st when I do. Can I ask, we're you approached by the Moose or just saw them at a distance? Lastly, do you think the pain patches maybe on your feet at night may have helped with some of your foot pain?

Quite ridiculous. They should have recognized everyone that hiked the trail and just added their admonishment for doing it during the pandemic if they wanted to. It ain't rocket science: "We congratulate Ms. T for her through hike from date --> date. Here is your certificate recognizing your achievement. We must include a statement that this hike's starting date through date X was *against advice* and this hike potentially put people at risk of catching Covid or causing medical evacuations that were unnecessary (or whatever)". Also, BIG CONGRATS on your hike. I've only watched parts of it as I'm getting a hiking itch after 15 years away from it. Really have enjoyed your videos a lot Taylor. Thank you.

I have a zerk 40 and the fast kumo 36. I LOVE BOTH! The zerk feels amazing and carries heavier weight with no hip belt. I don’t think you’d go wrong with either one. I do feel like the Zerk 40 would also work well for long distances.
