The food & presentation looked rather nice. But those business seats looked like they hadn't been updated since the plane was first delivered.

No pre-departure sparkling wine or champagne is ever offered! Cost cutting.

just had this flight! 1970 called , they are asking for their first class airplane back. come on!!!! people lets catch up with the rest of the world with modern up to date planes. entire experience felt I was in the 70'S!

Thank you for the review. We are doing Polaris out of Chicago for the first time (we rarely fly United as our home city is an AA hub) in a couple months and are happy to see your good experience. We are on a 787-8 to CDG but I am sure the service will be similar. Our daughter is looking forward to the ice cream sundae.. in the sky!

Flew this yesterday from Lisbon to Washington DC. Great flight. Seat, comfort, maneuverability, food and service were all MUCH better than BA Club World.

Like you, I flew the Biz class on the A350, from Istanbul to San Francisco. It's a great hard product. Comfort with delicious catering. We had avocado soup offered, and for desert, a peach ice cream was offered. I am booked next week from Caoe Town to Istanbul on the 787-9. I have been told it is the same seat. Let's hope so. I have never worked out why the window is blocked off with the shell but isle is completely open - it looks like the seat is on the wrong side of the aircraft

Beautiful Trip Report! This won’t be their best product for much longer, because starting next year, they will roll out the revolutionary “Crystal Suites” across Much of their fleet! Those suites will be comparable to Q Suites and will be amazing!

Very good trip report thank you. The seating looked very comfortable and the food, wow. head and shoulders above a BA Club class offering, put that on my to do list.

Dreadful seats. When I boarded Lufthansa longhaul, I thought this was premium economy! That product was out of date 10 years ago..

Disappointing experience with TAP AirPortugal. Booked a flight from London to Porto with a layover in Lisbon. The flight leaving London to Lisbon was delayed. Didn’t land till 5:30, same time my connecting flight was boarding. Upon our delayed arrival the pilot apologized and noted that the increased flight traffic was the cause of our delay. No big deal, it happens sometimes. TAP automatically book the next out going flight which was schedule to leave at 7:30. Around 6:30 the flight shows delayed. 6:45 I get an email from TAP the flight is canceled, “Unfortunately TAP was unable to find alternatives for your flight. We would like to ask you to evaluate whether there are alternatives that best fit your needs or if you would prefer to cancel your trip. We apologise for any inconvenience.” Not very helpful. At 7:25 I get a text that I’m now booked on the last flight at 11:40. By this point I’ve exited the departure area to talk to TAP customer service manager n the arrivals side of security. The TAP AirPortugal representative that “helped” me was disinterested in my concerns that the last flight could be canceled. So much so that she starts a conversation with her co-workers. I’m American, we have high customer service expectations, I do believe this behavior is unprofessional regardless. I’ve been traveling for 15+ hours, no sympathy or care from TAP. I was given a €24 voucher for the five hour delay. TAP AirPortugal’s approach to customer service is indifference. I don’t think it was a language barrier, the TAP representative spoke English very well. It was disappointing to not be treated as a customer, but as an inconvenience. I felt like I was interrupting their social time. I recommend not flight TAP AirPortugal if you can avoid it. If not, an 1.5 layover is not enough time to compensate for the airlines delayed flights if you’ve got a connecting flight to catch.

United doesn't offer first Class service to Honolulu. Its business, and a terrible one at that.

Asiana is always in terminal 1 as Korean air has terminal 2 as their main international terminal. This was divided before the talks about merging the two together.

I’ve how you complained about the bad service at the beginning of the video and then show a pretty standard business class service. Nothing outstanding but nothing bad either…thanks for the video anyways.

Great video. I can never get over, however, the lack of privacy in Lufthansa's Business Class product(s). Sure it's better than economy but compared to competitors surely lacking.
