I like all the little details you put in the video. Frankly speaking, I'm claustrophobic and the last time I was on the long haul flight was with Delta One which I could handle with some medication. How much space was there for you in your own personal term? Like what would be your height and how high(approximately) was the ceiling and how did it feel for you? I'll soon have to take a flight(I tried to dodge it but I must, this time) so I'm trying to prepare myself mentally. That's why I'm even searching for these videos at the moment. Thank you in advance. :)
Thank you for your nice comment. I am 171cm, my husband is 182cm tall. For both of us there was enough space to the ceiling. There are two different cabin configuration of the A380. One of these does not have any overhead bin above the window seats so there is even more space. But also with the overhead bins above it is spacious. The width of the seat is with 76cm wider than the seats on Delta One. The seat also doesn’t feel much as a cocoon - you can turn and switch positions easily. Also the fact, that the table can be pushed forward and turned, which gives you every time the possibility to leave the seat is a plus. In the back of the cabin there are three toilets - the middle one is for disabled persons and offers way more space. The only problem is the small compartment, in which you have to put your legs while sleeping or lying flat. For tall persons this feels narrow.
