I don't know why I expected Hades to say "Boi" in this scene. Maybe it's because he reminds me of Kratos on God of War 4 so much. And because Ares is a little squirt for Hades.

What people fail to understand is that Toranaga (Tokugawa) was extremely ruthless and power hungry to the point that he sacrificed friends and family in order to achieve the ultimate power. If you read the actual Japanese history, he did much worse. He had his wife and son murdered in order to prove his loyalty to Nobunaga . Supported Nobunaga against the destruction of the Takeda clan who were once his allies. There is also a theory that he conspired and supported Mitsuhide in the coup against Oda Nobunaga as an act of revenge. He Manipulated and supported Hideyoshi in defeating the Hojo clan in which he was gifted all their land, eventually giving him the resources to assemble a strong army. He also did not support Hideyoshi's failed invasion of Korea and was able to sustain his army which would in turn give him an edge for the civil war that was yet to come after Hideoshi's death. He was really a mastermind in real life.

Hades almost look like a "Kratos" design from God Of War 4!

First; I *really* wanted to see hades frag ares up and put the beatdown to this b--h. 😎 But, I’ll accept mercy as well. Honestly I was rooting for Hades the entire time, unlike Zeus or Hera in the last season (personally I was hoping that they’d both bite it. But, I’ll settle for lightning-jacka-s dying instead). My only wish is that he’d stand up to Demeter after he found out the horror she unleashed, knowing that his wife would never agree to something so foul. I’m pretty sure Heron would have been able to make SOME adjustments or fair freedoms is he had told him his predicament and shared with him like he did Saraphim. But I understand his fear as well. In my opinion he’s the only one who is worthy. Also it was a treat to see Zagreus after playing his game. 😁😁 (didn’t know he had a sister though 🤔) While I agree with Gia wiping the slate clean with them all, I don’t agree with the intent behind it blaming Hades for this families screw up. If the world has to go the. The gods think should live are Hades, Persephone, Zagreus and his sister, and Hephaestus. And *maybe* Hermes and Apollo too. How incestual these Greek gods are. Ares and persephone are siblings whose mothers are sisters, and then Hades takes his niece as his wife. Cronos marries his sister Rhea, who bore Zeus and his siblings... no wonder they're all crazy.

They took one step forward one step back with the depiction of the Gods. Good on them Hades is NOT portrayed as a villian; bad on them for taking the 1 male god who had NEVER forced himself on anyone and turned him into a laughing stock.

When some finally portraits Hades as a loving husband instead of the representation of evil, they do it at the expense of Ares. Ares was a dick but he wasn't a woman abuser. Actually, he was the opposite. They almost made Greek Gods representation right, but they have to ruin it 😅.

Ares being shown as a creep is weird af considered in none of the reiteration of the mythology was he ever shown cruel to a woman. If there was a male Greek god respected and defended women, it was Ares.
