This video showcases some of the latest images I have captured with my telescopes. Objects include the Andromeda Galaxy, Seagull Nebula, Jellyfish Nebula, Wizard Nebula, Rosette Nebula, Jupiter, The Sun, Orion Nebula, Gum 14 and Gum 15. Images are captured with my Redcat 51 telescope, Celestron Nexstar 8se and Meade 6000 Series 80mm refractor.

    Mighty pretty optical tube. I have a Celestron short tube 80 and I tried using an SvBony CLS filter with it to reduce light pollution and found that in an effort to eliminate ultraviolet light, it blocks chromatic aberration.

    WARNING: Do not point your telescope at the sun Without A Solar Filter/Solar Telescope Why? Because it hurts your eyes because of the strong brightness.

    I have the Skywatcher 80 version. For Jupiter and Saturn, I find a 2X Barlow is required for a decent image. Your setup is a nice grab and go.

    Hi, these look great! Do you have any information on must-have accessories for the 8se? I am looking to photograph the planets and DSOs like the pinwheel galaxy. I am on a budget but any advice would be great. Thanks

    Thanks for posting the live views. I am mainly interested in visual observation and it's hard to find reviews that give examples of what you might see through these scopes without the benefit of camera enhancements and post-processing.

      No eyepiece, these are captured with an astro camera at the back of the scope.

      Thanks! These videos take a lot of data to create. Usually each frame is 2 to 3 minutes of video exposure.

      Zwo ASI224MC camera, the telescope was on the celestron AVX mount I believe.

    WOW! I have a 4SE and can't get it to go more than a few seconds of exposure before everything starts moving. Do you think there's something wrong with my tracking motor? How did you get these fantastic shots in Alt/AZ mount mode?

    Absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing. Amazing work with the 8se. What camera equipment did you use? As for the mount on the 8se, it's a shame they use the same one that came with my 6se. Celestron needs to upgrade the 8se mount.
