  • Tonight, we review the data I was able to collect on Mars during its opposition in 2022. We also take a brief look at Jupiter in its late season.

Absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing. Amazing work with the 8se. What camera equipment did you use? As for the mount on the 8se, it's a shame they use the same one that came with my 6se. Celestron needs to upgrade the 8se mount.

Hello! Fantastic images!! What camera and what mount did you use? The original mount of the 8SE?

Zwo ASI224MC camera, the telescope was on the celestron AVX mount I believe.

Thanks for the nice video. I just wanted to know; I am starting a telescope rental business for tourist/ beginner astronomers. The telescope I thought about renting is the Meade Infinity 70mm. Do you think this is a good scope? Thanks.

This telescope is more for terrestrial observations. The mount is not for observing space, not convenient. It twitches and wobbles at every touch. It is better to find a telescope on the EQ1 or EQ2 mounts. They can be firmly fixed, and turn behind the planet/star by slowly turning only 1 knob (watch the video on setting up). And the diameter is better than at least 90mm. planets look boring at 70mm.
According to the telescope itself, as for me, the most successful view is Maksutov-Cassegrain, i.e. does not require Collimation
