that jupiter video is one of the coolest things ive ever seen great job capturing those awesome photos! i know how difficult seeing that level of detail is,so good for you!
Thank you, Adam!
Great Photos There, the moon looks Awesome!
Thank you!
Fantastic video!
Gorgeous shots Kyle. Still waiting for clear skies here in the north east.
Thanks Perry! It has been so cloudy here as well. Hope it clears up soon!
Great pics of the big 3. Good clean images. I am still waiting for these pesky clouds to move out ... looks like at least 5 more nights of clouds here.
Thanks Pat! I am so ready for some clear skies... hopefully some day! I managed to capture this data in a brief clearing that lasted a few hours, but even then there were some lingering scattered clouds. Fingers crossed!
Very impressive and inspiring! Cheers!
Thank you!
Great captures!
Thank you! Clear skies!
Hi, these look great! Do you have any information on must-have accessories for the 8se? I am looking to photograph the planets and DSOs like the pinwheel galaxy. I am on a budget but any advice would be great. Thanks
Did you use crop zoom for saturn, not a hater just curious. Also What eyepiece was used?
No eyepiece, these are captured with an astro camera at the back of the scope.
Do you think taking a picture with a phone would get a pretty good viewing of those objects?
It is difficult with just a phone.
Great pics
I also have a nextar 8se ..
What gear do you use to get such great data ?
Thank you! I used a 2x barlow lens, zwo asi224mc camera with uv/ir cut filter, and I put the telescope, a Celestron Nexstar 8se, on the AVX EQ mount to remove field rotation. The stock SE mount that comes with this telescope will also work, but the planets will rotate some - an EQ mount or a wedge removes that problem. Clear skies!
@@KylesAstrophotography thanks for the info Kyle .. any chance you could detail how to put the gear together .. short video or comment reply would be awesome … I’m new to this and would totally appreciate it and want to emulate your work
@@mikesolari4476 hey Mike! I haven't thought about making a tutorial video for the planetary setup, but my video from Saturn's opposition last year has a brief rundown of my setup at the end. Clear skies! czcams.com/video/tMzdn_x6FqU/video.html
@@KylesAstrophotography perfect 👍 Kyle that’s just what I needed thank you
Keep those great pics coming
I have the exact setup and can’t seem to get my pics this clear. Amazing Kyle. The only thing I don’t have is the uv/ir cut filter( on its way). Would you mind sharing your settings? Are you using Firecap?
lol @ image based on data collected?
How it looks through eyepiece?
Through the eyepiece quite a bit of detail can be observed, but the camera does reveal details that are really hard to detect visually. Saturn looks amazing at the eyepiece. Clear skies!
