    Thanks Kyle, great images!! My se8 didn't arrive until late July, so I spent Aug learning it, the camera, the software. Now I'm wishing got an EQ mount. Off to check out the AVX mount.

    Hi Kyle. Very nice. What camera did you use?. I'm looking to upgrade my alt az mount for my 8se. How do you like the avx mount?

      Thanks Perry! I used the zwo asi224mc with uv/ir cut filter and Orion shorty 2x barlow. The avx mount is nice, I really enjoy how much deepsky and planetary work I have been able to achieve with that setup. Clear skies!
