    Over the past few weeks I have tried to make biscuits and they were just, ok. This is the best recipe I have ever made. I didn't realize how important the baking powder was because I was using self rising flour. Thank you for the recipe and emphasis on the baking powder. The biscuits were outstanding, to say the least.

    I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but it comes out very soft almost like thick Ricotta cheese. I measures 100g of dried chickpeas and 250ml water and cooked it for several minutes until it was thick but it didn't get anymore solid than when I removed it from pan. Any help would be appreciated!

    Just saying, when chefs put their ingredients in the description, I come back because I know they'll let me see if I have what I need before investing in a whole video OR being commanded to click a link with TOO MANY pop up video ads.     I make this cake at work. It gets demolished. The raisins and nuts are great in them. This cake is so moist its ridiculous. It never last more than a day.

    I reduced the flour by 1/2 cup and added 1/2 cup dry old-fashioned rolled oats. Omgoodness… my cobbler turned out soooo good! It’s already become a fave of mine and other fam members. 😋

    Closest attempt I’ve gotten so far - tried lots before that didn’t work. I think I’ll maybe do only one tbsp of lemon juice next time. Didn’t really seem to turn color, either. Maybe that was because I used grapeseed oil.

    Did you know you can save precious heat/energy by simple putting the eggs in cold water, then bringing to a boil and then switch it off to let the leftover heat perfectly cook the eggs? Imagine if everyone would do such a simple thing, how much energy we could save

    The cake was amazing but I had a problem with the frosting. I followed the measurements but my mixture was very liquidy. I had to improvise by adding butter and more cream cheese but still it was not as thick.

    Perfect recipe. Except if you soak the beans overnight, that will releases more nutrients and cause less flatulence (if you are sensitive to that). And for a more healthier , next-level option, use Epic Bar Traditional Rendered Duck Fat instead of lard. Thanks.
